As a creator of custom content, I might be most excited for Lay the Trap, just because AFAIK it's the first official card that has a dialogue between two characters as the flavor text instead of just a quote from a single character. XD I can't tell you the number of times I've found a great quote for a custom card's flavor text that I couldn't/didn't use because it needs the back-and-forth.
Upside The Head will be a fun card in a She-Hulk Justice deck as she has a lot of ways to potentially ready up. Even with Limitless Stamina so it's harder for her to be locked out from being able to use it.
I'm really digging her kit, and it's always fascinating that the designers can still come up with unique ways to make each hero feel a bit thematic. Upside the Head I could see myself running in almost any Justice deck.
As a long time Psylocke fan boy, I am super excited for this. I think she looks like so much fun. And the new Justice cards 🤌🤌. She really has everything you want in a solo hero. With so much deck building potential. As far as the grey cards go, I actually think there is a place for them. The upgrade is a bit weaker, because all the Psionic heros have a pretty solid thwart stat. But throwing it in a deck like Colossus, that can struggle to thwart at times, and add in a few Psionic allys and there could be some potential. Maybe even a leadership build for him. Who knows. The power of the mind, however will be a lot more consistent. Just highly deck specific. I think the deck that wants to run these will have a minimum of 12 Psionic cards in there deck. (Which isn't really hard to do. ) And in a deck like that, I think it will shine. Even with TBE. You could become a resource generating powerhouse. But it has to be the right build for it. Either way, I'm excited about those as well. If for no other reason than the potential design space.
She looks like a ton of fun, the only issue with her confuse based kit I see is that she doesn't look like a hero who wants to flip down often? But with that said she could also able to make good use of cards like Swift Retribution.
I tried Float Like A Butterfly in War Machine with sonic rifles, 2 damage per shot shoulder cannon just straight up deletes villain The Power of Mind looks bad, as you said, because Team Building Exercise exists Despite hand size 4, she might actually have quite an easy time playing Avenger Mansion, she should be fine Also I agree with aggression with Honed Technique+Psychic Assault+Press The Advantage
This all seems really fun. Looking forward to having more Psionic trait heroes and cards to explore ( + Psionic hero without the baggage of Dark Pheonix lurking around the corner, which made me very anxious lol)! That being said, I'm curious to see who her nemesis will be? Any thoughts? I kiiiinda still wish she had an X-Men trait like her ally card in aggression, but I understand they want to build up X-force cards. Thanks for the video, always enjoy tuning in.
@@NelsonAllOverCards Me neither! 😅 My knowledge starts to get hazy after the 90s/early aughts! I wonder if they would throw in Sabretooth again as a nemesis this time, or maybe Silver Samurai? I guess we'll find out! Thanks again :)
I think she'll be a very strong Justice hero, being able to One way or another so many things, with the knives is 3 thwart, and you can pay the 2 mental for Telepathy in multiplayer, thwarting 5 per turn seems pretty strong. We'll see 👍🏻
Also, cool that you mentioned how those Physical and Mental energy requirement cards connect with her. Deck-wise, I was mostly focused on "Float like a Butterfly".
I've theorized for a while that fantastic 4 is probably a whole wave they will do in the future, I can totally see a campaign with Dr Doom and Galactus. Perhaps once they're done with all the "X" heroes :)
