Glad to see Drax getting some love. I got him not long ago and he is my favorite. I just love playing him and how he plays different than the other heroes I own.

Glad you like Nebula! I’m a high risk - high reward, dice rolling, coin flipper in MtG so love heroes like Star Lord and Scarlet Witch too.

Grabbed Thor(and a ton of others) and I really like him. Beat Ultron with his pre-con “as is” and the amount of card draw with his hero ability and hall of heroes was insane. Ultron is Thor’s best buddy IMO. Current faves for me have to be Cap, Wolverine, & Ghost Spider. Need to play Cyclops and Scarlet Witch more. I wasn’t to big of a fan of Quicksilver in solo, I think he may shine more in multiplayer,but that is judging him solely on his precon, I do plan on playing all heroes with constructed decks. I always found it weird that Groot was in protection over Justice. I always try to play each hero blind to get a feel for them, but Groot makes no sense in the aspect they gave him IMO 😅. Also Groot’s ability should exclude the word “forced”

I am also a huge comic Colossus fan and so I have played him a ton. While sticking with protection I’ve found he feels the most fun/strong when using armor up every turn or whenever possible. I always shuffle it back in the turn after I use it.

One thing that they need to clarify is the "Change form" when it comes to Shadowcat. I don't think it works the way some people are using it. Mass form is not form (which is identity). Notice that every time they say form it's referring to identity and all of her hero cards say "mass form" which is only her ability.

This was fun! 👍👏😁 I really enjoyed that Drax is still your favorite even if you don’t play him anymore. This is my top 7: 1. Captain Marvel 2. Ironheart 3. Captain America 4. Rocket Raccoon 5. Shadowcat 6. Spider-Ham 7. Spider-Woman It’s not written in stone, and they float around over time, but Captain Marvel is number one. And these are the ones I’m not really interested in playing, in no particular order: Hawkeye Star-Lord Hulk Thor Groot Adam Warlock Spider-Man SP//dr Nebula We played Spiral on normal last Friday, with Fantasy, Horror, and Sci-Fi. As the aggression player, I didn’t find her a great experience as she often couldn’t be damaged. Also we were very unlucky, Cornered was at the bottom of the Show deck. Every. Single. Time. Going to switch to Shadowcat for the next game, against Mojo. Unfortunately, my friend wants to branch out and play LotR LCG, and I’ve agreed to try it, but it just doesn’t appeal to as much, and now I kind of wish I had said no 😂

I feel like gamora is just the opposite of how you play. You like to build and take your time and with her it’s just so event heavy and not a build out type hero. Good ranking!

Fun video. I think Thor and Black Widow are my favorite to use. When I play Iron Man I always pair him with Vision because he just sucks up damage turn after turn and just doesn’t die-giving Tony time to mop things up once his engine is built.

This game is fascinating because I find war machine to be so much fun!

I played Drax for the first time vs expert Ultron, I think it might be impossible if you don't get Drax's other knife out early so retaliate can handle the drones

Extraordinary video. just one small suggestion, please, when you use graphics of the cards, please please please, let them on a while longer, maybe you could reduce them and put them somewhere decentered on the screen. Pausing the video to read the card is not always an option. And no, i don't know every card by heart nor i wish to go around looking for them after having seen the video. That aside, lots of good ideas

Its funny how much multiplayer effects the viability of some heroes. Always interesting to see a true solo players perspective as I play primarily two handed.

I don't have spider ham, spdr, iron heart, nova, or wasp. Which one is the most fun/interesting for newer players?

Always entertained by these, thanks for the video. I really disagree with almost all of your list. Respect your incorrect opinions haha. Always fascinating to see opinions very so widely. I am glad to see someone besides me rank Nebula higher than Black Widow. To me they’re a similar concept but Nebula’s implementation is much smoother and versatile.

You need to do some protection Iron Man with ever vigilant and repurpose. My favorite! Versatile and powerful hero!

Spider-Ham being second (technically first because I know how you get with Drax) feels very correct. We have a lot of variance in the ranking (Nova being so inexplicably high makes my head hurt, for example) but it's always interesting to see rankings and rationales.

Great video, I agree with most of your choices with the exception of Ms Marvel and Ironman. I have got her out and played with her a lot in the last week and I still don't like her. For me she is a one trick pony with rubbish stats. If she doesn't have any events in her hand she is near useless. I have made decks for her full of events to make the most of her Hero ability but it is very situational. If you don't have an event in your hand you can not use her ability. She may not see much play in my world. Whereas Ironman is one of my favourite Heroes. For me he only works in protection but I do not mind that. I am biased as Ironman is my favourite Marvel Hero of all time but I think he plays so well. Will we be getting one of these for 2024?

I just started watching the video and have my disagreements/agreements with you: Wasp is my favorite aggression hero! Totally underrated as you say. Next Ironman. Gamora is close to third (along with Nova). Then I put Thor. In the lowest places I rank She-Hulk and Hulk (to me they're so frustrating). Haven't tried Rocket, Wolverine, Shadowcat and Valkyrie. Nice ranking anyway.

Really great content and an excellent overview of the current hero pool! It's interesting to see how polarizing heroes are for other people, but Iron man has improved a lot since his release. Ironheart FTW.

I think wolverine is too new, probably why people love him so much RIGHT NOW. But in time, he’ll end up in the doctor strange pile. So strong and amazing, but not fun to play. It’s basically easy mode.

Ok ok I respect it. Disagree on War Machine but I get it. I’ll just give my favorite and least favorite. My least favorite is Dr. Strange. I just don’t like how powerful he is. He often trivializes everything it just doesn’t add to the fun for me. My favorite is Ms Marvel. If that wasn’t obvious from my previous comments. I love her so much. Every attack and thwart event in the game is made better by her and she’s so much fun to build for. Love her!

Playing this game for 2.5 years and never played solo or duo. Solo looks very easy all and fast. And first off all the game doesnt look epic. So only 4 players mode for me. Like long long battles. Mojo 175 hp. When every turn is tactic. And each deck is puzzle of big piece. And i play expert/heroic mode only, with 2 cards shadow of the past. So Valk 4 players mode S tier. What is funny, we played all characters except She Hulk. But one day i found 1 good way to play her. Overall waiting for Gamma upgrades

I believe only me like War Machine, I have a lot of fun playing with him, but every rank video I watch put him in the botom tier.

lol oh boy. I have to say I don't see what people see in drax I think he is horrible. He just don't interest me at all. Sorry. My fave would be either captain marvel scarlet witch and dr strange also black panther leaderahip is ridiculous once his kit gets out he is pretty much unbeatable.

Wasp, Spider-Ham and Iron heart are meh characters in the comics and I would have no desire to play them in the card game even if they are good.
