I'm curious about this one being played solo. It seems like it would be tough since she takes a long time to build.

Not that bad, since she has cards that let you fish out interface cards from your deck.

@@tedduby2346 I just played with her solo last night. Had no issues with Rhino because she has enough DEF and THW to hold him off while she builds up. I had more issues with Klaw, mostly because of having to deal with the minions while trying to build. She is a lot of fun to play though.

SP//dr is such a fascinating design. I love the mechanics, I just wish she had a larger hand size! I’ve built her in Justice, focused on card draw from cards like One Way or Another, Clear the Area, and Skilled Investigstor.

I think a larger hand size might make her too powerful.

If you think about it, with the peni parker as an interface, you are starting with 4 cards, 1 resource. 6 cards in alter ego, 1 resource if you use maintenance. It is like 5 cards starting hand size. Each upgrade gives you one more resource, potentially giving you 3 cards, 5 resource in hero form in the late game, basically an 8 hand size.

This looks pretty neat, will have to test it to grok it I suspect. And I’d like to see Domino, I think the luck thing could make for a fun mechanic.

Charles with a mind control, turning minions against Villian be interesting. Nightcrawler in 4player having multi saves/defends or changing turn order. Rogue stealing powers or using all aspects. Maybe... just maybe... Magneto and Brotherhood, and play as "bad" guys fighting the Xmen. Placing treat instead removing, making schemes and winning if get them done.

I may actually skip these two. The game is already full of expansions already and getting bloated but at least I look forward to xmen coming soon. These two are a little...... Weird for me to include with other major heroes.

They are odd, but I’ll get them for the cards in them not so much to play them. Look forward to Phoenix most of all and if they make a rogue, she’s one of my favorites.

I played both decks, and they are a lot of fun. I love that FFG is throwing some weird characters at us--especially when the mechanics of the decks are this fun.
