I love Deadpool, so I was really excited for him to finally come to Marvel Champions and it did not disappoint. I like that he is silly enough in the game and doesn't really require out of game silliness (I will pretend that Break Time card isn't there). So far he's the only hero I rate 10.

Deadpool is the best joke character I've ever seen. Spider-Ham is overtuned and in games like Sentinels, Guise is obnoxious in how he actually plays. Deadpool, on the other hand, does something great: he uses threat and HP as a resource. He becomes good when the game gets hard, and he gives you the tools to make the game hard early so you can ramp up.

Deadpool is pretty OP in solo. I've seen reports of him defeating Ronin in 2 turns.

Deadpool is honestly one of the better characters, both in theme and mechanisms. Even without the pool aspect, I'd still play him.

Ive been playing a lot of marvel champions lately too! I can't wait for X-23. DP looks cool but I still consider myself a noob and he makes a lot happen all at once lol

I love how they are talking about how x-23 and wolverine do so much damage while holding the character that can easily do more damage than them lol

Question: you have played with Deadpool. If you wanted to run two heros both in the pool aspect: Are there enough cards to kit out two heroes, or are we going to need two deadpool packs to get enough pool aspect cards.

There's enough cards, and you could pad things out a little with basic cards. But, you could get two different feeling decks out of it with one character leaning more into the silly, 4th wall breaking stuff.

Deadpool is so stupidly broken it's hilarious. With Symbiote Suit and the 'Pool aspect, you can beat most villains in two turns in solo lol

I just played that combo the other day. I never defended once and only triggered his ability one time. Combined with chimichanga truck and he's basically impossible to kill

Yeah, I think it's funny people are worried about the upcoming infinite combo with Nova, Ms Marvel (ally), Sidekick, Go For Champions, and I think one other card. Oh no! Ms Marvel will be able to hit for infinite damage!? Meanwhile, Deadpool is trouncing through villains in 2 turns just using his own cards. No crazy combos required.
