Exactly! This is a great box to try out expert if you don’t normally play that way. A lot of villains are already hard enough that you don’t need to bother but here it’s worth exploring 👍

Yeah it’s weird with Ironheart. I love her too, but I haven’t been in the mood to play her for a long time so I felt like she needed to drop some. My feelings overall haven’t changed, I still think she’s great! But there are just so many great hero’s in this game that I think for me she’s dropped back just a little into the pack of very good hero’s, but maybe not in my top 5 anymore. Who knows , maybe I’ll play her again soon and she’ll jump right back up there lol

@@ragnotgreymane Psylocke can be tricky for sure, but you can simplify her as well. If you just have 1 of each blade then her events basically do what you want them to do most of the time and she’ll have 2/2 stats which are average. I think she gives you a lot of freedom in how you play her which is just another thing that makes her so awesome!

Thanks so much J! I didn’t play Cable’s precon but I can see how it would be really strong. The Uncanny X Force strategy just seems like it will be really good I agree the setup with Sinister is a bit of a hassle. I’d be tempted to keep the Superpower mods just with his cards if they weren’t so darn fun to use with other villains!

I still haven't payed nothing from Next Evolution onwards. (Let's just say I'm deciding if this is going to be my last MC cycle... Cause somewhere/someday... I should be able to stop, right? RIGHT? Haha. For now, I just know that I'd LOVE to have Apocalypse, the 4 Apocalypse Riders, (multiple villain scenario'), Mystique (infiltration mechanics full implemented), AND, as heroes, Beast, Nightcrawler, Iceman, Jubilee, Emma Frost and Professor-X (guess impossible but hey... dreaming is free!). All of these in order to, finally, quit myself from this beautiful addiction!

@@monoludico6166 at the risk of sounding like an enabler, who says you ever have to stop?? Lol. Especially when the game just keeps getting better and better imo I think you’re very likely to get most of what you want to see next wave! I strongly suspect the Horseman scenario will be a multivillain fight a la Wrecking Crew or maybe like Sinister six as you suggest. Mystique also feels like a requirement and I’m hoping for Dark Beast And most of those heroes sound very likely to me, except maybe Charles. I’d love to see him but there are just so many good mutants left it’s hard to say for sure. I’m hoping we get an announcement relatively soon and we’ll start to get a picture of what’s to come!

Yeah it caught me off guard for sure. I definitely plan to play her more. I really want to love her, and i suspect I will in the end, I just need to have that right game where it all falls into place. What’s your favorite way to play her? I’ll start there lol

@@GetUpandGame I played her only in Justice and Leadership so far and she looks best to me in Justice as she has all the damage in her kit. I've not tried anything crazy, just the auto include cards, like Digging Deep, Sharpshooter, White Tiger, etc.

I do really like the look of Fantomex but haven’t messed around with him too much. That might just be the next deck I play! (As I type this in the hospital room waiting for the delivery time. So it might be awhile 😆)

That’s exactly how I feel about Cap Marvel! Perfectly put 👍 Haha yeah I don’t know why On The Run is giving me so much trouble lol. In the campaign on standard I’ve had no trouble with it, but non campaign expert has been a real pain 😣

@@GetUpandGame the way you play and the way I play are quite different for what I've seen, so there's probably some of that, but I found that having good minion clearing ability was necessary for on the run. Lots of tough minions are constantly coming into play, so I felt that that was the main threat of the scenario. The random villain is also a big factor (Greycrow as the main villain must suck, but thankfully I haven't got that one yet), so maybe other tries will be more successful.

@@javgoro Greycrow is indeed horrendous. Yeah, it might be that I was playing Angel and I was definitely struggling with all the tough. If I tried it with someone I was more familiar with I might have more success. It’s fun though and I enjoyed banging my head against it lol

@GetUpandGame oh yeah, for sure. Also want to try her with that psionic card that redirects an attack. And I've got a couple leadership decks ready to test out too. I'm honestly just having way too much fun with her in justice 2 handed to switch rn 😅

Heck, repurpose is even a skill, so she could probably do some pretty nuts stuff around that too. Between her psionic and her skill synergies, she certainly has one of the widest range of builds of all the heroes

Agreed! He wants to play with minions and there are definitely harder minion sets than Mutant Insurrection and Extreme Measures out there so that would greatly kick him up several notches

No, or at least not anytime soon. Maaaaybe when the game has run its course, if they decide to do some rereleases like with LotR. But as it stands now I wouldn’t expect to see one within the next few years

@@GetUpandGame A few things. I don't like any mandatory allies or helpful things in general (like the Milano). I feel they water down the deck building experience. I'm ok with the odd scenario if the helpful item is thematic. But 3 out of 5 scenarios with the same mandatory ally is a bit much. My other problem with her is that she's incredibly imbalanced.She's a 1/1/1 with Ms. Marvel, but can be much higher with other heroes. I will say that Juggernaut works fine without her. Trample is a little less scary, but you don't have Hope's added abilities, so it balances out fine.

I don’t own this box, but she seems even stronger than Magneto ally is from MG. she seems better served to make things easier if you need a slight mod in your favor.

@@TheVlad1616 she is potentially stronger depending on your hero. This was probably designed at the same time as Mutant Genesis and the feedback that some didn’t like having Magneto just wasn’t out there yet. But similar to how some people choose not to use Mags in Master Mold it’s entirely possible to play these scenarios the same way

That’s true. For me I find her power really comes from her pistols. If you can get them out early you can do a ton of damage, and more importantly you’re discarding a lot of cards which leads to free resources from Digging Deep and maybe even a free ally. And since so many of her cards have the wild resource even if you can’t stack more than one they frequently come up anyways!

Thank! And thanks for the feedback! I definitely considered it breaking it up. But in the end I didn’t for a couple reasons: 1. I was just in a massive hurry. I wasn’t planning on making this video, as I’m taking a break while preparing for (and now having) a baby. But having hit 3k I knew I wanted to do something. So when I found myself with an unplanned and very suddenly available window of time to record I just jumped on it with 0 preparation. I got up early and my boy slept in and it just worked out to turn on the camera and record. And then I took every opportunity throughout the day to edit it because I wanted it to come out before the baby was born so I could just have it out there and not worry about doing anything else with it. Editing it into smaller chunks would’ve taken more time, as would have setting each section up as it’s own video. From a time standpoint it’s simply much much easier to release 1 video than it is 7. 2. I wanted it to feel like a big deal. 3k subscribers deserved a big video so I thought just having one big celebration with a bunch of fun topics would be an appropriate way to do it. And I consume a lot of RU-vid myself these days so I know it’s really easy to jump back into a video you’ve started watching since they save your place now. So while it’s definitely more convenient to have multiple small videos, I decided it wasn’t unreasonably inconvenient to just have it all in one. And while I would prefer to have some of these topics as searchable videos, I also didn’t feel that any of them individually were up to the standard of quality I would prefer to have as a standalone video. I usually have nicer presentations and more coherently organized thoughts, so the videos themselves would have been subpar compared to how I usually try to present things. So in a perfect situation this would’ve been 7 videos all individually doing great on my channel, but under the present circumstances this was just the much easier way for me to do it ☺️
