1) They’re fast tracking the end of the saga which was reported when Blade was delayed 2) Iron Heart, What If, Spider-Man and Zombies have been in the can for a *long* time.
Quality is not defined by the quantity of projects you put out in a single year, but rather by the time given to the production of each of these projects. Apart from the Fantastic Four film, all the projects that will premiere in 2025 are already complete and ready to be released, some for more than a year until now. And many had time for re-recordings
Yeah! Even she's now acknowledging that MCU is back babyyy!! Oh I missed the Marvel festival so much this year, given we just got 1 movie and 1 show this year.
Tatiana Maslany was never going to be in Deadpool, Trolls are being Trolls. Alden Ehrenreich is supposedly playing Zeke Stane. And imo he was one of the best parts of Oppenheimer. I think he looks “rough” in the show because his character has gone through stuff, not the actor… both Eyes of Wakanda and Marvel Zombies are 4 episodes long. Ms. Marvel was never in the Young Avengers… she was in the Champions…
In Daredevil it will feature the original Marvel White Tiger, Hector Ayala, who is Puerto Rican. He's actually somewhat historic as he is the very first Latino Superhero from 1975 in the comics . He also has a very tragic story in the comics. Most people think of the newer gender swapped versions of White Tiger because of the Spiderman cartoon. But im glad Hector is getting his dues
Wonder man at least looks like it has more of an Agatha-sized budget so I’m not too worried. Ironheart looks to be more of a relic of the MCU’s time spending blockbuster budgets on shows destined to reach a mid-sized audience (regardless of quality). Looking forward to watching both though.
Ironheart worries me a lot because I was introduced to comix regularly via the Young Avengers, and she was the first time I branched out from either that or the more classic stuff like Dark Phoenix or the Dreaming Celestial. If the show does worse than Ms Marvel, and she doesn't get much screentime later I'll be so bummed. She's AWESOME in Marvel Rising with AMI as her Jarvis stand in. I really hope she gets recognized as more than "affiliated with the Wakandans since theyre black and smart"
@ She was never in the Young Avengers in the comics though, was she? I think the Wakandan connection is an interesting angle. As much as I’m looking forward to this series I can’t see her character having enough mileage to carry other projects on her own, so she probably has more hope of sticking around in the MCU if she’s folded into that world.
@@mildhoof she doesnt need to carry other projects on her own or be an official member of the Young Avengers to be present tho imo. I'm alluding to the Champions, Amadeus Cho, the Spidermen and whatnot. They had a lot more options other than randomly inserting her into Black Panther 2 lol. Riri is a very nuanced c list character and deserves better. Give us a Miles team up film where it's just them navigating a situationship and beating baddies or something like... I cant believe how little creativity is in Hollywood lol
Wow I’m glad I stayed up tonight late. What a great way to end the long day! Can’t wait to see what Disney/MCU has to come & also can’t wait for Agatha’s season finale
9:38 Heavily disagree because she can, just not simultaneously. When she eventually realizes her true home is with the mutants, she becomes Captain Krakoa. But up until that point, a major plot point was her not being as confident as Carol in her decision making. So she learns from Carol how to lead, practices a bit, and then ultimately transcends into new powers, personality, and I think if they do this with patience, in like 10 years wed finally see Captain Krakoa on screen and it will not only make sense, but be a beautiful and relatable transition.
The sparkly portal cirkles were established in the 80's by the Filmation He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe show and also in the original She-ra Princess Of Power.
I love that Alden Eihenreich is coming off the massive success of Oppenheimer and Anthony Ramos the huge success of Twisters. That will only elevate Ironheart. So do we think that Shuri will make an appearance in the show considering her and Riri became very close in Wakanda Forever?
Seeing this stacked schedule it makes sense with Blade though, he’d have gotten lost in the mix amongst all these projects. Kind of here for him to appear after Secret Wars now.
I'm genuinely excited for Daredevil, Spider-Man, and Wonder Man. However, I firmly believe that a Wakandan show without Black Panther is simply not worth it.
I think Marvel decided to clear out its backlog in 2025 😮. I’ve never cared for Wonder Man, and based on the short snippet, my thoughts aren’t going to change. Daredevil, What If, and Eyes of Wakanda look good.
For the series, I'm stoked for what if and iron heart. Daredevil was too brutal for me on Netflix. For movies, I will definitely see thunderbolts on the big screen because i love Florence and maybe fantastic four.
with disney+ doing weekly drops it does feel like a lot to have something new in the mcu every month of next year, i suspect the animation to not get nearly as much attention as everything else
Hey Grace, it must only be on in the U.S..im from Western Europe, checked Agatha episode 1 on Disney+ and Nothin..the RU-vid versions look rough, i feel like MCU are not giving us much of these projects until they pretty much arrive...Its a bad marketing strategy, yes domestic is very important but they still want to do well worldwide and half of these projects have finished being made for a while...anyway thanks for the video..luv to see ur incite into these upcoming projects Grace❤
I think Iron Heart might end up like Agatha. I don’t think the show will have amazing viewership ,and sadly it will be targeted by trolls. But if the show has strong writing and is engaging everything should be fine.
@@Sanj1n Agatha’s viewership has been solid, no matter what Grace says. It’s also been received well, has good social media hype, and seems to have revived the appointment viewing weekly easter egg analysis that has been lacking for the MCU’s shows for a couple of years now. All on a budget under 20% of that spent on the Acolyte. I have no doubt that Marvel are pleased with its performance. Although I’m looking forward to Ironheart, it would be quite a surprise if it repeats the success of Agatha. A pleasant surprise, but still.
I though X-Men 97 season 2 was expected next year? I’m totally fine with waiting til 2026 but I thought most people were saying it would come next year?
No it’s been known for a couple months that it was shifted to 2026. Might be more relevant then too, as the arrival of the new x-men (not the retired fox cast a la dp&w) will be imminent at that point in the saga.
12:51 Alden Ehrenreich ❤ Glad to see him with a longer hair cut! He looks so good 😍 I always thought he looked his best with the hair cut he had in Solo. Stil... I don't think I'm going to watch the show 😅 I watched all of them from WandaVision to Hawkeye and I didn't really like a single one of them. Honestly, these Disney+ shows are the reason why I dropped the MCU. Too much to follow and I didn't even like most of it. The only movie I had seen before Deadpool & Wolverine (Hugh ❤) was Multiverse of Madness (which I also thought was just ok). I hope this role can help Alden's career but at this point a role in the MCU isn't a sure bet like it was before Endgame...
Which is frustrating, cause Deadpool and Wolverine is my least favorite MCU film and the only comic book film I hated hated this year.. Agatha has been my absolute favorite comic book property this year.
I hope they eventually release the cancelled daredevil season because I would love to hate watch it and then drag clueless executives responsible for that atrocity.
SheHulk has potential. There are shows with bad s1 that have great s2. Looking at the office and rings of power. Fire the writers and try again. Really wish i was excited for Riri. Enhance the comic character like they did for Miles in spiderverse. But i really didnt like what they did with her in Wakanda Forever. Now i want them to scrap it and reboot it.
Hyped for Wonder Man! Especially excited to see the grim reaper enter the MCU, hope he pops up in Vision Quest too 🤞 Ps Grace, go to bed!! We love you but you deserve to sleep haha
6:05 Grace, put on your business hat. People would not be happy if the She-Hulk was in Deadpool and Wolverine. Toxic channels would have found a way to use the She-Hulk's presence to badmouth the movie.
Doubtful. The incels don’t get mad about women in the MCU, just so long as they don’t have the audacity to lead the ensemble. They’re comfortable with women when they’re side characters and “know their place”. But let’s be honest, that film was already messy as hell, one more narrative thread may have been the straw that broke its camel-back entirely.
Disney's Marvel 2025 slate looks like the patient is bleeding out on the operating table, and all doctors already have left the room... There is a small chance Daredevil Born Again Again, will be good, but I'm not holding my horses... They should give up on "superhero" animation altogether. It's a waste of time and money. The competition from Japanese anime series is too strong.
I've got zero interest in the spiderman cartoon. It's not his MCU origin but it's still being held back by the MCU. I want a spiderman cartoon with fun comic book style costumes that are impractical and ridiculous looking.
I couldn’t believe I didn’t see a single tweet from Grace with all these announcements but it was because she was preparing a video. Grace never sleeps.
When it comes to iron heart being linked to wakanda, I do hope that not every new bkack character gets put into one corner of the mcu, no you're black so you go to wakanda sort of thing. Especially now we've lost blade, which would have been separate, it might start to feel like it a bit.
