i genuinely feel like not expecting seams/cuts/pins in a action figure is a odd thing. without those you might as well just have statues

@@lotograves it’s called evolving. I know people don’t like change but it’s inevitable. A lot of people have been wanting pinless/seamless figures for a long time obviously or the toy companies wouldn’t have made the change.

My experience so far has been my pinned ML figures sag in the knees and the ones without the pins seem to be straighter. Mixed bag with some pinless joints being too loose but have been able to fix that.

Nah, it's the same thing. Spiral was pinless with a new mold and was gummy and heck, can't pose on her own and her limbs can warp easily.

I'll do a video on it eventually. The reason the pinned figures get wobbly is have uses flexible pvc. It either needs to be hard pvc or color matched hard plastic... Preferably nylon or pom

I personally don't care much for pinless, because I'm a customizer. And being able to swap some of these figures at the forearms and the knees actually helped out with some of the proportion issues that these Marvel Legends figures tend to have

for customized functionally, sure. but for the regular collector they just stick out like a sore thumb, especially if the pins don’t match the rest of the figure. i actually import basically all of my figures and the only legends i have us the amazing fantasy spider-man. pinless, sculpted beautifully and tons of range of motion

Although I do remembet they glued in the guns in the holsers and you had to heatem up to remove them. So this release is better for that alone

Cable is tall, not crazy huge but sizeable (no diddy), his buck is cool

The budget is bigger, hence the texturing.

@sithlord757 minus the pinless arms it's the exact figure. But movie figs in general have a slightly bigger budget, I assume, because there is more details, like texturing and sculpting, ie Spider-Man web lines on the suit.

@@AnthonysCustoms did the guns come Attached to his holster out of the box ? Damn target scammed me for my guns 😅 and it was the only dead pool on the shelf. Wondering if somebody bought it and took the guns and returned the figure back lol

He just complains. Idk why he said pinless will go loose before the pinned. 100% of my figures with loose jointed are pinned. I have zero figures with loose joints that have pinless. Idk what he’s goin on about

The pins have nothing to do with the "gummy" joints. That comes down to the plastic used for the joint. Pinless joints (the way hasbro does them) wear out because they are insert molded. That's no force from the sides. The only thing retaining the joint is notches on the edge of the disc which is hard plastic. When that hard plastic wears away the softer pvc, the joint is useless. That's also why the joints are usually stuck initially. With pinned joints, you can make the notches as small as you want and apply force from the sides. Maybe instead of saying I'm just complaining because you don't know something, consider that I do know someone. I've disassemble and worked on hundreds of figures, reviewed thousands, and designed my own line. I have first hand knowledge about how various joints work and which plastics are best for different applications. Can you tell me the benefits of nylon over pom? Or the best type of nylon to use for joints? Do you know the difference between nylon 6 and nylon 66? Which would be better for joints?
