Marvel Legends SPIDER-MAN No Way Home (Final Suit) Action Figure Review 

To address the "Which Spidey are they referring to on the package?" deal...MCU Spidey's considered "thee" Spidey , so he's referred to as "Spider-Man", Tobey's package says "Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man", and Garfield's package says "The Amazing Spider-Man"

That last image with the Darwin head genuinely caught me off guard🤣🤣 I had to double take my screen

I hate drop down hips, It makes figures feel less sturdy and more fragile. I’d much prefer simple pin and socket joints over without drop down hips.

This Spiderman looks fine, at least is a new suit for the spidey shelf, but I don't see the 25$ value in them anymore.

The webbing is SO much thicker on this figure than the actual suit. Its barely visible on the suit, but on this it looks like a 3YO went over it with a permanent marker. Throws it off a lot for me. They also bunged the mid-chest web that should go closer to his shoulders but Hasbro shifted it to wrap more around his neck so it looks like a huge space between them.

I always find myself modding these figs to dremel down joints or snip the pigs that prevent the most out of the butterfly joint, im grateful to hasbro for giving me so many bad figures to work on lol

I find it so damn dumb how they do the butterfly joints. Theres a mod you can so where you pull out the shoulders, cut off this long ass peg connected to the main peg of the arm and then they work as they are supposed to. I dont get why they keep adding that long extra peg to it that prevents the range of motion to the fullest

Biggest thing about this figure to me is it really doesn’t look like the actual suit it’s suppose to be. Web lines are way too big and it’s missing all the stitching detail. Tue body proportions are just not correct

It’s a great Spider-Man figure for me but not very accurate to his suit. The blue isn’t metallic and it’s missing texture. Black lines are to thick and the logo seems to small. For a suit that has been out for about two years now there is no reason it should be this inaccurate

I think the webs are just a bit too thick on this figure, the size of the emblem is right but because of the thick webs it doesn’t stand out

I had to soak my copy in hot water for a bit. Almost every single joint was frozen. It's a shame so many people have had breaks, it really is a good looking Spidey.

Anthony's Hasbro Head scoring. I like this new concept. It separates the good from the bad in a lot of ML products.

This figure looks like it could pass for a movie or comic book Spider-Man figure which made me interested in getting it, but I wanted to wait for a more critical review like this before making a decision. I can safely say now that if I get a new figure this month that I'll be better off getting one of those Jada Toys Street Fighter figures.

Anyone know how to fix the second elbow joint not moving?

I gotta admit.. I got Toby and Andrew just to mod and repaint them. After I repainted them, fixed the butterfly joints, added toe hinge articulation and dremeled better ab crunch in… they ended up not bad. I may get Tom.. but, Egh. He’s my least favorite over all… Edit: also you only see him in this suit for a few seconds.. so when it comes to your suit questions? Who knows lol.

The head sculpt on the Scarlett Johansson black suit Black Widow is spot on as well

The packaging seems to be somewhat dicated by licensing terms. The Andrew Spidey is ASM2 branded. It wouldn't surprise me if Sony has some mandate. The lankiness might be off but it works for me. Same goes for the color. But no baf and what I think should be the standard for paint and accessories at that price. My live action collection isn't explicitly MCU, it's more just trying to get realistic representations of characters. Homecoming select and the original ASM2 ML have been my adult and teen real life Pete. If I come across this for under $20, it'll probably replace them.

Really appreciate this review. I like elements of this, the Amazing Spider-Man, and the Renew Your Vows figures (the latter probably my favorite but it gets me on the neck and the fact that you have to buy Spinnerette), but little issues have kept me from committing. I was close on this guy because I really like the color scheme and the slim but reasonably well proportioned look for Peter. Not interested in MCU figures typically, was thinking this could just be my shelf Spidey. Between the hip seeding and the elbow joint though, I think I am out on this one. The wait continues.

In the films, all of Tom’s suits (including this one) do not actually feature black, raised weblines. His weblines are two very very thin, dark red, basically maroon, lines. Hasbro has NEVER figured this out, so all of his figures from them look inaccurate, except for the really shitty Far From Home red and black suit, where they sculpted web lines, didn’t paint them AT ALL, and left the entire figure with this gross gloss finish over the whole thing. As for the colors of this suit, the red should be a candy red, not this orangey-red they use, and the blue is meant to be a color shifting fabric that looks either teal or almost black depending on the lighting. It is VERY shiny, and this figure doesn’t reflect that at all. Also the chest logo is maybe just a tad smaller than it should be. This is easily my favorite on-screen Spider-Man suit and Hasbro completely botched it. Maybe not as fucked up as Andrew and Toby were with their disgustingly off-putting proportions, but still bad.

This costume as glimpsed for seconds at the end of the movie. Its never shown close up or in any detail. It appears after the storyline has played out and now Peter is in an apartment own his own and as close to the comic version as we get. He has hand sewn this costume. You never see the spider logo clearly or in any great detail so answering the question of the day its impossible. This is not his main costume of the movie and also why its not featured on the packaging as there is not a clear shot of it in the movie as it is only on screen for seconds as a tease!

I was gonna get this as a comic spidey but idk if i want to after seeing reviews. It kinda looks like the took the upper body of a mafex, the arms of a marvel select and the legs of a marvel legends and kitbashed them together. All the issues people have had are worrying too. There is almost a good figure in there but they hasbro'd it.

Gotta say the thing that's put me off newer marvel legends the most is the lack of a waist joint. They just kinda said everyone hates the cut waist so let's replace it with nothing and make the articulation worse. Other Hasbro lines have perfectly solid ball peg waists but not the one that arguably needs them most

I ended up just getting the Mafex Spiderman a while back instead of constantly trying to upgrade the Legends one as Hasbro puts out their 5 new spidermen a year, so I wouldn't purchase this regardless...but the way the spider blends in would make me pass if I were lokoing for one. If you set this on a shelf, that's going to be even more difficult to notice. Those elbows look like the joints from those Halo figures.

Oh its the 2,986,528 version of Spidey that Hasbro has released. Any improvements? Not really....Easy pass

To answer your question, yes I think it is, I don't mcu figures but I love spiderman so I'm getting all three spiderman figures, the Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus. The webbing on this figure is my least favorite of the 3 suits from the movie.

I just got him, tried out the articulatio and everything was EXTREMELY stiff. Was a bit annoyed until I realized the balljoint for the leg was so stiff that I twisted the drop down balljoint on one side. Not even 5 minutes into owning the figure and it broke. Great job Hasbro.

I picked him up last week, mine was also super stiff in his knees and elbows, it took some work to get his joints functional

I hate that the Tom holland head sculpt looks better than the mask. I don’t know what it is but the masked head looks off to me

Bruh when I got my Walmart far from home exclusive mine came defective the shoulder joint on left shoulder when posing it extending it up on the hinge, it tore like skin off the top off the shoulder sculpt as it bent up into his torso on his left arm.

I know exactly why Hasbro went with the plastic free packaging where you couldn’t see the figure but they told you it was “for the environment”. It’s because the quality control sucks ass on these figures and Hasbro was tired of many of their figures going to discount stores or never selling because you can see the QC issues with the windowed packaging. The QC on these recent figures suck. I’ve seen so many with terrible paint, paint completely missing and worst of all, especially on these Spider-Man figures, the eyes not being center and destroying the entire look of the figure.

hmm always good to watch a review like this, i wouldn't have even noticed half of these issues if i just bought it outright, guess i'm waiting on a better adaptation of this suit because i do like it a lot

Bro that's the end scene suit meaning they that suit only had like 3 seconds movie time at the very end that explains the package and why it's like that but yeah it is a little off either way

The black on the webbing is really harsh. Either that or the red is too orange but something feels off about the overall aesthetic. The articulation is just pitiful. Poor torso and butterflies means very limited dynamic poses. They really need to retire the ab crunch and use ball pegs, once they figure out how to do them properly 😂

I saw a pic on IG of someone who cut the arm peg so that the butterfly can go back more and he can get into some decent poses

Versatile figure. Can work as intended or comic spidey and even looks close to the classic suit from the PS4 game

Easy pass for me No way I'd pay retail for it. The tiny spider on the chest and way to thick web lines on the neck and upper chest really ruin it for me. I like the Tom head.

The arms are not long at all. His hand rest right where they should. The head sculpts are fantastic. The hips and elbows are awful. And the head articulation is lacking for sure. Will look great on a shelf. But needs some work.

Nice, fair review-as usual. I only collect movie figs in my middle age, so I have the majority of the MCU in plastic form. I buy imports for the “main” characters in my head, and fill in with Legends, but this one just doesn’t cut it. He looks far too cartoony for a movie version. It’s not a bad figure at all, but I’ll just wait for a Mafex version.

I was really enjoying this figure just as its own thing, but then the leg joint just snapped. Looking at how fragile the joint is, it’s no surprise.

How they use this suit in the next movie or looked really good. Decent figure. Still thinks it sucks that the 3 pack didn't get the head sculpts

There's someone on the Marvel Legends team that keeps fucking up elbow and knee joints. You can tell it's always the same person cause they always make the same mistakes. The new Captain Marvel also has this problem. The new Green Goblin figure is even worse than this one, somehow

I got the Marvel Legends Spider-Man No Way Home Final Swing Spider-Man suit figure from GameStop couple of days ago

Still waiting on mine honestly I’m glad ember got sets of two with hands I’m soooooo sick of hasbro giving us one and one type of hand limiting options on using your figures in posing or holding certain accessories a certain way.

Finally someone addresses those horrible elbows and knees that Hasbro are doing recently. Design decisions like these make me not buy their figures, and not only theirs, but any figures. Somehow poor design like that is a trend. How did the engineering went so bad in recent years… I guess Jazwares Halo team is teaching engineering in action figure university nowadays.

I bought some Spiderman figure in what looked like retro packaging. It was his first appearance ever in the comics and besides not having toe joints it's a pretty good Spiderman figure, which I have been needing since the one I had a child broke. I don't know how good it is or if it even is a marvel legends/scales to them though. I haven't bought a marvel figure in like two years. But this retro black and red Spiderman scales pretty well with some old venom and carnage figures I have. I would for sure take it over this one, something just seems off

I regret getting this figure on a recent trip to Tokyo as I already have the shf final swing one. That one to me is amazing. This one, I don’t even want to open it up now. The poor articulation and the ugly joints are no excuse. If I had a chance to test this one out before I bought or have watched this review first, I would have skipped him.

I want to use this as my comic version of Spider-Man. I have first retro and the Amazing Fantasy Spider-Man. I prefer the iconic red and blue suit of Spidey but I prefer the teenager body of the Amazing fantasy but I won't be bothered to buy a 3 pack for only 1 figure since I have no attachment with Spidey and friends. So even with its drawbacks, I would pick this guy up

What I don't understand is why they constantly fiddle with the Bucks. Just Choose the best articulation style and then adapt it to all the figures. Why as Anthoney says do we have some looking really good joints and then get crappy looking joints and funny proportions.

I own this figure. You're very quick to point out its flaws, like "ugly elbows," but don't show the upside, which would be the fact that they bend up extremely far. Holding it up to standards, a domestic product cannot reach. Faulting it for design decisions it took that other lines do as well. And griping about things that are part of the design in the source material, not the figure (like the spider or inconsistent webs) It's almost like you purposely want the figure to look unflattering

This looks nothing like the Final Swing suit in the movie which sucks. The webbing is too thick, blue and is too dark.. as a spiderman figure, it's an ok design, but if you're lookin for movie accuracy, way off.

I'm half and half. Overall the figure looks great, but the spider logo on the chest is too small. Like I can barely see it.

Great, so modify the neck, modify the shoulders, see if there's anything to be done about those elbows among other things. Don't you love it when Hasbro gives you extra work to make your figure move and pose the way it's supposed to?

The scale being off is bad if you want a teenage MCU Spider-Man but great if you just want a basic comic-style Spider-Man. The one on my shelf is currently the Retro one from 2 or 3 years ago but I'm seriously thinking about trading up for this one just because of how much I like the colours and the headsculpt.

If you go and look at comic art more often than not Spidey doesn’t have web lines on his knuckles this isn’t a hasbro being lazy thing this is actually accurate to how spider-mans hands look. You can go to versions made by companies ranging from hasbro to hot toys to see thats the case

The last marvel legends I bought was the black widow (the one with 3 heads) and I think it's gonna be my last one.

Wait you haven't seen No Way Home? Sounds almost impossible at this point but that's interesting. It's pretty decent, people tend to say it's the best live action Spidey movie but not really, considering the animated ones it might be the 4th or 5th best Spidey movie.
