Sooo some play explanations for the MOLT series: (WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD!) 15:21 - This can't lose to Dr Strange because no card can be played into The Big House (after Wave sets everything to 4). I was trying to set up an unbeatable Leader Turn 6 25:34 - tried to bait MOLT into playing Polaris on Space Throne to pull the Deadpool. He didn't fall for the bait ;D 27:17 - slight correction - since the Chavez rework, Cable pulls Chavez guaranteed (unless she was destroyed by Yondu). So I knew MOLT had my Chavez the moment he played Cable 29:21 - I considered Leader turn 5, but since he'd copy 2 cards with Wong he could clog me on the right side, making my turn 6 A LOT worse 31:45 - I don't agree with Raven & KM here. The situation is not THAT great for me because of the Squirrels and my hand is kinda mid. My On Reveal synergies need a ton of space (White Tiger and Leader) while MOLT's Panther and Venom can go very tall with limited space. Also keep Polaris in mind (he could play her into Kamar Taj pulling both Squirrels, which is part of the reason why I didn't play Wong there). So I can't really Snap for value, but my position is also too good to turn it into a bluff. I think Snapping here is minus-EV compared to not Snapping 34:32 - The Spider Ham is probably a misplay. I forgot that MOLT has Chavez guaranteed because of Cable. (There's a case to be made that the second Ham trigger can still hit Phoenix Force or Valkyrie, but I don't think it's worth it because of the Elysium discounts and because I'm losing board space by playing Ham) In the end, not snapping worked out perfectly in the final game - MOLT stayed in a game I was guaranteed to win on turn 6 with that play line. And we hedged our risks by only playing for 2 cubes up until the final turn (in Poker this is also known as "pot control") GGs to MOLT - very creative opponent with some brainy plays! Great back-and-forth series 💪

Some insight into the series against Harry: (WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD) The Draft - Shang, Valk and Surfer were mostly picked so that Harry couldn't use them against me. I think the Storm pick-up was huge (even though harry had doom & shanna) because it gives me all the agency over location dynamics, and synergystic cards like the Guardians, Hela and Surfer were still in the pool. Overall, I could have drafted better for sure, and imo Harry got the better part of the draft. But I had more playmaking cards and mindgame enablers End of Game 1 - not sure about the optimal Nightcrawler & Hela placement - the math behind it is super deep. I still think I made the best play available, but I'm not 100% sure (and imo neither Retreat nor Snap would have been good) 1:28:12 - I was playing Surfer Sentinel on 5 instead of Red Skull to play around Harry's potential turn 5 Wave. After that, 6/10 Pig is just better than Red Skull because it's already bigger than anything left in Harry's deck, plus we avoid Skull's Ongoing effect Final sequence - It was just a brainfart. 😄 Like the casters guessed, I thought Harry had priority. (Was playing with a pretty phat hangover 😅 so my brain played some tricks on me) It looked likely for Harry to slam Giganto on the left side - which Valkyrie would have taken care of elegantly. In hindsight, I should have just played Hela instead, but got lucky that Harry low rolled. (Or I could have not moved Nightcrawler the previous turn - don't remember why I did that) GGs to Harry! Great draft and great series, but sometimes, fortune can only favor one of the balds 🥸 Pretty darn happy with my drafts and my overall play in this tournament (except for the last part ofc 😁 but that made for a hilarious finish!) Just that misty knight being a 3 or higher or that antman being a 2 or higher instead, would of won Harry the match. The Stars truly alligned for lobster there

What i was wondering is, doesn't Cable always draw Chaves, since she sits on the bottom of the deck? Unless the deck is shuffled by a effect e.g Vibranium Mines

Great games. The announcers shouldn't use "we" or "Our" (our play, our card, etc) because it confused me. Is each announcer backing a certain player or something?

Harry lost nice, he had to run out of luck, vs dmoney, insta good rng with murder world, then best daily location hiting doom with patriot in hand, vs lamby was the same, top deck jeff, top deck doom on key games. Grats to Fresh :) great player
