This is just a video of a Marvel VS Capcom 1 playthrough. I am by no means amazing at this game. Platform: FightCade Characters: Captain America/War Machine Difficulty: Expert #mvc1 #marvelvscapcom #marvel
To those unaware why War Machine is in the game: At the time, Tony (Iron Man) was being used by a different company during the time when MVC1 was being developed. He was off-limits, and couldn’t be used. To counter this, CAPCOM simply grabbed Iron Man’s sprite from MSH, recoloured them to Grey and Cyan and War Machine is in the game (plus Hyper War Machine). Now you know why War Machine is in the game.
Fighting Gambit, Chun-Li and Hulk was always a pain in the ass in this game - but well worth it as this game is never boring. This was the peak of the 6 button fighting mechanics that the Vs. series was known for. It feels so fluid and smooth here. It was also pretty damn good in the previous game, Marvel Vs. Street Fighter. It sucks that this layout didn't return for Marvel Vs. Capcom 2. I still don't like the 4 button attack layout in that game.
@@retrozaid1600That's what I thought as well, I couldn't careless about how it looks or the lack of content (although I was only surprised for the lack of X-Men, but it went away when I saw X)
it could make sense according to the comics however seeing as how the War Machine armor was first worn by Tony Stark as a variant of his armors.he then passed it on to Rhodes
With a powerful robot that's taken down dozens of robot Masters a symbiote that can shapeshift into anything it wants and Street fighters that can break walls without even breaking a sweat there's always room for ordinary humans that can keep up proving that power comes in a lot of variety
