As a Switch owner, I'm proud to see this game come to the modern consoles cause I've always wanted to see a Marvel vs Capcom collection and I'm sorry for the Xbox owners. Capcom did them so dirty. I have a feeling we might get an Arcade Stadium vol. 3 with those games.

I put on my wish list for my Switch and PC. I searched for it on my XBSX, and nothing. I was not happy. Hell Divers now this. I regret buying Xbox

well sometimes it's the decision of the publisher or developer. can't blame the platform that is willing to accept it when another source doesn't want it on there. But I'm ok with it on STEAM

Dude the overwhelming majority of people all agree that ever since that infamous xbox one reveal event, xbox has essentially been cursed from that point on. xbox one was essentially a flop & in its final year that console didn't release a single game all while both Playstation 4 & Switch released multiple new titles in a year when gaming was a literal saving grace as the whole world at that moment was stuck indoors due to the rise of covid. xbox series x & s had zero launch games let that sink in, a brand new console with ZERO LAUNCH GAMES AT ALL! I've never seen that with any other console in all my years as a gamer. Not only that but xbox's bright idea to release a watered-down version of their primary machine has legit caused several headaches for developers who have spoken out against xbox's 2 console plan, example 2023's mega-hit GOTY Baldur's Gate 3 launched 4 years later on xbox while launching much earlier on both PC & PS5 because of the xbox series s complicating the development process of that game's xbox port. Whereas last year Playstation was releasing games like Final Fantasy 16 & Spider-Man 2 and Nintendo was releasing games like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom & Super Mario Bros Wonder, xbox was putting out stinkers like Redfall & Starfield but they also released Hi-Fi Rush which garnered massive acclaim from both fans & critics alike and how was the game's developer Tango Softworks rewarded for a job very well done? They were shut down even after xbox brass said they wanted more games like Hi-Fi Rush & wanted to work with more Japanese developers which Tango was. Are you frickin' kidding me? Than you got alot of their most anticipated exclusives such as Avowed, Perfect Dark, State of Decay & Fable that have all been reported to be still stuck in developmental hell You're the clown if you refuse to accept the reality of the situation.

From what I hear the MT Framework thing is the issue. There's also the fact that these types of collections tend to not sell as well on Xbox systems, which is most likely why they aren't bothered to fix it.

It's not on Xbox because Xbox people are trained to wait until a game comes to Gamepass. The vast majority don't actually buy games, and Capcom is trying to MAKE MONEY here. Why should they bother porting the collection to a 3rd place platform where hardly anyone actually buys games? Come on, people. It's not hard to figure out.

the XB S/X doesn't support Capcom's old engine MT Framework, which is the one used in this collection and older games too. The X360 port of MVC2 still uses that engine and the X1 still supports it but the new S/X consoles do not.

PS4s pretty cheap right now But the D pad on the latest Xbox controller is great for fighting games so I'm glad I have a PS4 too or I'd be major pissed!

Well if Capcom wasnt to start skipping collections going to Xbox, then I recommend just pulling every single Capcom product off of Xbox, just take down the Xbox SF6 servers and dont bother making an Xbox version of SF7, Mega Man 12, Mega Man X9, Resident Evil 9, and whatever else they want to make.

I'm done with Capcom, and I wont play Mega Man, Resident Evil, Street Fighter, nor Marvel vs Capcom ever again.

Theirs no proof of that. Even if you bring up Gamepass, which lets you buy the games at discount, the games have made more money from Gamepass then a straight up purchase.

yea i debate that since the example happened on ps with 2 games they went straight to game pass due to having ps plus and those gaming devs let loose a tyrade of rage frustration and blasted sony about doing them like a game pass from xbox and said it's exactly why they wanted the games on ps to avoid what exactly ended up happening

I watched a video about this. They think it has more to do with gamepass than anything. They dont want it on that platorm because they want folks paying fullprice and not the 10$ game netflix.
