Best thing to do is just get a dedicated controller if you’re even remotely serious. SNES styled pads are not going to be better than a good dedicated 6 face button controller. Surprised nobody’s done attachable controllers like that yet. Yeah the use case might be limited and it might not depending on how it’s executed.
@@Biokiros_ Which controller(s)? Kind of off topic but it’s a good thing I got those SF2 Hori RAP arcade sticks towards their shelf life when still available. They’re astronomical in price now.
No, that goes for Children of the atom. The sprites have way more frames of animation there. they reduced tham in games that came before to save memory.
COTA and MSH had the best animation followed by X-Men Vs. Street Fighter. After that it was still good, but all three of the mentioned games had already maxed out CPS2 ROM sizes so the only thing they could do is cut a frame or so here and there.
its not the best to play on, luckily plenty of options available for gamers. myself I have a leverless for sweaty sessions and a trusty 8bitdo SNES & saturn like controller
The only game that shines on the Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection game is The Punisher beat'em up. The rest of the games suck because they don't keep track of how many times you win and lose online matches and that doesn't make any sense. Think before you buy the game.
as an arcade junkie back in the day none of really cared for wins & losses we just wanted to play, have fun and fight better competition. even the marvel gods don't care about missing the W-L record
