You actually didn't need to reroll your hits against Scarlet Witch. That only happens if you're in her zone. You shot her from the adjacent zone with Iron Man, so you played it right.
Great quality playthrough! Regarding your comment around the 9th minute about having to re-roll the hits to Scarlet Witch, you didn't have to. You only need to reroll if you're in her zone, which you weren't because it was a ranged attack.
Game looks fun, but from this playthrough, it feels like a weird thematic double inversion. The humans + superheroes keep spawning, coming back to up and try to mob you like zombies, while for zombified heroes you can’t even lose one of them because that’s game over, as if they are the hero protagonists in a zombie film. It’s just all over the place thematically imo. On the other hand I do appreciate the hunger-devour mechanic I think that helps make the zombie heroes feel more like a zombified version of themselves. I wish they would have gone further in this direction, perhaps the zombified heroes could turn all those human mobs/heroes into zombies that help them, or resurrect after getting knocked out. Would have been interesting to play a game from that point of view of the “weak mobs of evil zombie guys” against the few elite NPC heroes.
I was very underwhelmed after my plays of the game. It certainly didn't help that the first game I didn't realize that hunger added dice to your attacks. However, I just didn't feel like the zombie heroes really had that much difference because they only get one unique attack each. Instead of searching, the zombie traits also felt really weak to the point where I never felt like I wanted one.
I am sorry to hear that. It’s by no way a heavily nuanced game but in its simplicity it can be simply fun. I have found that the more I’ve played the game the trait cards can actually be quite useful but I’m also never desperate to get them either.
