Walter Hawkins sung this song initially. All his work have been full of the anointing, and it have been very beautiful to me. I praise God the music that he blessed us with. Nobody but God was in the midst of it.

Well except when Fantasia got up to perform. I think they needed to vocal rest because they were flat and tired. I don't think it was the same crew up front on the mics.
OH. MY. GOD! I have 33 keyboard instruments in my home studio - 3 acoustic pianos, 2 vintage Rhodes electric pianos, 2 digital pianos, 2 Hammond organs, each with it's own Leslie speaker, etc, etc,. I have been playing for 44 years. This whole band was on FIRE! HOWEVER... you know I am partial to those keys! The gent that was workin' that Hammond organ made it absolutely gurgle - to whine, moan, and absolutely cry out loud! So rich, so righteous and so beautifully - and that choir was beautiful beyond belief! The "screamers" AKA "leads" were blessed with powers from on High, I tell ya! They were hitting those notes like it was completely effortless to them - yesterday's news! :D
This choir did the queen proud! The other “singers” could all take lessons from them. This is how you represent! They were excellent. When they all woke up that morning, their purpose was to sing for HIS glory!

Watched the funeral in it’s entirety, it was truley a celebration of life. From the choir to the music selections, and the speakers you could tell that the Holy Spirit was present. The services just truly touched my spirit.🙌🏽🔥🙏🏽

MY SENTIMENTS EXACTLY!! I WATCH THE FUNERAL OFTEN JUST TO HEAR THE CHOIR.....IT WAS JUST SUPERBLY AWESOME!! GIVES ME CHILLS. THE QUEEN WOULD HAVE BEEN WELL SATISFIED. I ESPECIALLY LOVE THE MAN WHO LEAD "ANGEL" HE JUST DID A GREAT JOB TO ME.
Luke 12:48 says "For unto whomsoever much is given, much is required", God showered Aretha Franklin with many gifts to bring the world together, & she used what God gave her to give Him glory and praise!!! Thank you Lord!!!

I so agree, Lisa! I would love to listen to a CD of the performers as I'm driving. They were all so inspiring. Talk about singing from your soul. They did that in spades.
This is such a beautiful and anointed song. When people give praise and honor to God. It is not a performance. No matter where they are at. It is not a performance. They are giving reverence and honor to God. God bless you all in the mighty name of Jesus.
