marvin bagley easily one of the best of the draft. Jaren jackson jr looks like he has potential and it is nuclear kind of talent/explosiveness that needs to get started/ignited by a talented coach. Jaren has alot of passion and heart.
I said I would love to see them together as they are two of my favourite players of the last 2 drafts, not that they were the next best young duo, chill
No one takes the time to teach def iq these days. Coaches dont teach these guys anymore. They just let them play naturally, only using athleticism. That works in hs. AAU, and college. It doesmt translate two the nba tho. Idk tho. Guys like AD, Joel, Kawhi all came in with great def instincts. The u got guys like drummond, wiggins, who have the tools and dont have the iq to put them to use. Its baffling to me too.
short wingspans don't mean nothing if they can bounce that quick. You don't have to be tall or long as hell to be a good shot blocker. He has the reactions and the bounce, it blows my mind.
MBIII has the highest ceiling of any Duke player in the draft. Carter has established his position on a team. Good low post defender, rebounder and shot blocker. I don't think he'll need to be a 3 point shooter but if he can knock it down once a game it's just icing. Carter also shined when Bagley was hurt. So take Carter away from Bagley and that ceiling grows a little too.
How could anyone knock his game? He’s 6’11 with the heart of russel Westbrook that’s scary. He’s freakishly athletic doesn’t shy from contact, easy lob target and can finish at the rim. He’s to fast for 5’s and 4’s and 3’s are to small. He will be a superstar easily. These sports analysis are terrible and somehow always miss the elite prospects.
I see him as a PF just cause he'll have an easier time defending other 4's. If you take a look around the league, the power forward spot is perhaps the worst position talent wise. The best scenario would be a situation that has a stretch 5 so that the paint isn't clogged up allowing him to score easier. Memphis comes to mind.
This didn't aged very well. Still hoping the guy can stay healthy and prove himself but it'll be more difficult since he's no longer with the usual team rotation. And with Sabonis coming to Sacs, he's only a commodity for the Kings.
Yoel Gide bagley can space the floor better with his 3 than Collins which would give Collins a chance to go one on one in the post which could help instead of clogging the lane the hawks need a floor spacing big bagley is that guy
Hawks have nothing right now. It's better to take a risk with someone Bagley, Doncic or Porter for the Hawks because Bamba has zero star potential, best you can hope with him is a few DPY but he won't take the Hawks to the playoff.
Filip Cordas I don’t think that’s true. Bamba reminds everyone of Rudy Gobert but he has an even longer wingspan than him. I think if he can improve on his foot work/offense he could be similar to Embiid👀
My favorite prospect. I would take him #1 and i wouldn't be surprised if the Suns did draft him or found a way to move down for him. He's no secret here.
I see him as a Kenneth Faried/Blake Griffin-type player. Freakish athlete, GREAT at everything, will be in the league a LONG time..... but not outstanding at anything except dunking.. he needs to develop a very good jumpshot to be a superstar.
A C that can't defend AT ALL and lack game feeling and BBIQ on BOTH ends while don't really have any great skills? BUST COMFIRMED He can play bully ball in college and look good but in the NBA he is gonna bust hard, a early to middfle 20th pick for me
zach coates because he wears 35 or because he's tall & skinny? what are u smoking? He's a big who Can't shoot consistently with below average handles.. horrible comparison. KD is a 7' guard.
I just want them to get to Mo. I know Modern is about the 3, but image Mo with a 15 footer and... A SKY HOOK. Not a baby hook but a full in the air kareem sky hook with his wingspan
I think he has one of the highest floors. I just don't see how he will be a bust. He will do something in the league. Not sure he's a super star but he is a 10+ year veteran at minimum
MB's biggest weakness is his defense... which takes nothing away from his offense and rebounding and we must consider how many NBA stars are pathetic on defense. LD's biggest weakness is going against athletic defenders and a poor long-range jumper... pretty much every NBA teams has multiples of these kind of players to throw at him and they, until he develops that three point shot, can play under the screens instead of switching to limit is playmaking ability. Of their weaknesses, I'd say that Luka's is a larger obstacle to overcome as his is about athleticism and quickness while MB has those very tools that can make him into a decent/good/competent defender if he has the desire and puts the work in... I think he's going to be a very good player but think that such a short-coming leaves the door open for an honest debate. Also, a great chance that Doncic ends up being the better pick. Time will tell. Regardless, I think both are going to be great in the open court from day one and be fun to watch.
I only have so much interest in any glory hog with little if any defensive instincts. If he can't be bothered to regularly communicate with his teammates or even cover the post or his man properly, then, he's a defective center.
This dude is just another Julius Randle. Bad shot selection. Can't use right hand to save his life. Idk why people are so high on him. Athleticism can only take you so far in the nba. He's going to get exposed.
Winston Thao he’s three inches taller than Randle and a better athlete. That makes all the difference in the world. Not to mention, Randle played pretty damn well last year. Not every player is going to be a top 10 player in the NBA.
Jaeden Kwon i said same thing he's good offensively but defense is horrible also he's not too skilled offensively can't do nothing with his right hand. I think he'll be good but overrated
Yoel Gide I do agree they’re the same player but the NBA is position less basketball more than ever & it’s also caters to offensive ppl . Mamba just wasn’t great in college. My heart can’t take another potential pick . I. E Marvin Williams
Playing with bagley is like playing westbrook i wouldn't know but just my analysis. Seeing him play is so frusturating and annoying sometimes. His strengths are gokd but his negatives almost totally overshadow his strengths. Still if he is still available after ayton and doncic i say go for him. Just please make him not an asshole of an anmoying player -_- too selfish n sometimes makes horrible decisions imo
Night and day players by nearly every metric other than they both played at Duke. A true post player better suited for the NBA in the 80's and 90's while the other is taylor made for the modern game. Even beyond that, Okafor was a "below" the rim player and MB plays above. One shoots near 40% from beyond the arc and the other lives in the paint. One is a bruiser and the other is a gazelle. But they both play basketball so they have that in common.
More of a center? He's 6'10, if you have him starting at the 5 that's idiotic. Gobert, Stevan Adam's, Whiteside, Drummond, DeAndre Jordan, etc. Are all 7'+ and would get cooked at the 5, he will play the 4 idk why the hell you would play him at the 5.
If he will not improve his pick and roll defense he will be exposed in the nba by teams like the rockets or the warriors. *Im not hating tho im just concerned it will have effect in his future
Interesting that you picked the Rockets... Harden is a perfect example of an explosive offensive player being a star and MVP of the league while being a defensive liability. Not many fans would be too upset about drafting a Harden-level player even if that comes with a weakness on defense. Of course we've only seen him play one year of college and he has all of the physical tools to remedy that issue if it's in him to do so. If he's a true competitor, he'll get tired of hearing about how bad of a defender he is and fix it.
I'd describe Ayton as a special physical specimen while I'd describe MB as a special player. I'd also further that description as the difference between Westbrook and Curry too.
