As I work my way to the top of my Marx Brothers movie ranking list, I decided to take a detour for a day at the circus, a night at the opera, and I stayed in to order from room service...
"At the Circus" has two great musical moments and some fun routines but isn't essential watching. "Room Service" is much hated by many fans but I find it a very unique vehicle with lots to appreciate.
"A Night at the Opera" might seem a little low for some fans, but believe me it is a great film and a must watch for all Marx Bros fans! And make that 3 hard-boiled eggs!

Great stuff as always. The number of comedians who have been influenced by the brothers must be high. Especially Groucho with his zingers. Rodney Dangerfield strangely comes to mind, but I could be way off base on that one.😆The fact that people still love, quote, and watch these films shows their genius. Trying to set up a Western film club at my local community centre, to show westerns and chat/eat afterwards. Would love to get that going as I'm a big western fan (among other films). Not easy as not on social media...Inverness Scotland maybe not a hub of western fans🤔😂Nice vid, take it easy man.

Agree 100%! Gotta love the classics! I don't know if Dangerfield was inspired by the Marx Bros or not, but it wouldn't surprise me if he was. Maybe you need to show a Western like Sean Connery's Shalako to get people involved. I'll try to brainstorm some more Westerns with Scottish actors in them for you!
