Marx Brothers - Password Scene - Horse Feathers - Chico and Groucho 

I've seen "Horse Feathers" many times, and I never realized the classic password scene was only a minute and a half long. It's amazing how many jokes the Marx Brothers could fit into such a short space of time!

Groucho can outsmart Chico, but he can't outsmart himself!

The Marx Brothers are so good. Their timing is perfect. Gone are the days when good old fashioned comedy ruled. They are still sadly missed. I'm English but love these guys. Thanks for bringing humour into my life and many others.

As a kid in the 70's I used to look forward to watching the old Marx Brothers films on TV at Christmas, sadly they are not on the schedule these days, same as Laurel and Hardy. Would still watch them if they did.

It's hard to believe that, before too long, this scene will be 100 years ago. Their old films are wonderful.

I used to be the lead programmer for a small website shop where we provided clients with not just their website but our in-house suite of tools to control all the content, photos, shopping cart, etc. on it. I would always set the client's initial password to swordfish (which they could later change). No one in the office got the reference, and when they asked me I would just balefully look at them.

Horsefeathers is not my fav of the Marx Brother's Films, but it has a special place in my heart because it is the one that introduced me to them.
