Uncle Albert's crying is as contagious as his laughter, even Bert couldn't help crying along with him in the end.

I understand that Uncle Albert just loves having company so much. I love having company so much too but not always. I can be solitary. There are also times I love and enjoy being alone.

"A little down in the mouth" gets me every time

Uncle Albert hates it when his guests have to leave so soon, even Bert's joke couldn't cheer him up.

I feel Uncle Albert about goodbyes, they suck and nobody wants someone to go away.

At least his people he see people on a regular basis some of us barely see any one at all, some of us have no one.

Mrs. Darling, Wendy, John, and Michael: Oooooooooh! (they run over to Uncle Albert and Bert crying on the floor, comforting them) Poor Uncle Albert and Bert! Mr. Darling: Poor Uncle Albert and Bert? (jumps to his feet in anger) This is the last straw! (points out the door) Out! Out, I say! Michael: No, Father, no! Mr. Darling: (grabs Uncle Albert and Bert by the shirt collars and drags them outside, with Michael clings onto Bert's leg, but Mrs. Darling picks him up, and Michael lets go of Bert's leg)Yes! There will be no more crying from these 2 in this house! Michael: (waves goodbye) Goodbye, Uncle Albert and Bert. Uncle Albert and Bert: (wave goodbye while crying)

I watched this when I was 6 years old.

Even today, I still don't understand why Bert cried with Albert. Is it because he couldn't find a good joke to get him laughing again?
