I couldn’t agree more! Sure, not meant for a huge synth/keyboard.. but I can fit the Maschine and my sp404 on the table, or something small like the mc101/Verselab and my Keystep.I love it!

This format looks great for beat videos but my neck hurts if I'm working in this position more than 30 mins. I need to have Maschine on a tilted stand to be comfortable, and sit between my studio monitors to hear the timbre of my sounds properly. Anyways, dope video as always man!

Thank you so much, appreciate it. I guess it comes down to personal preference, I do enjoy standing up making music or editing my videos. It can be nice to have it tilted, but I think I prefer having it flat. I do most of my stuff sitting down between the speakers, but being able to switch the position from sitting to standing is priceless for me.

Love the way you put all those samples together! Now that it's done,how would you sequence it? Like you did in this video? As in,just add layers and then effects?

@@BoombapArt no special place for a chorus? I've been struggling a bit to get "my" structure together. I've seen some beatmakers do a discernable chorus,then other just go and add layer by layer until the end (then remove some too). I've been trying to start with the chorus,as in, the main loop I end up with, then remove some samples to have the verses. Still getting to define my style though. Thanks for the video and the reply

@@PeteOnTheBeat I usually go about it that way, stripping down.. but that also depends on the samples, sometimes I’ll find like chorus parts I use when flipping a soul sample for example, that have a different “chord progression” than the main loop.. but sometimes it’s just by adding or removing layers of sounds.

@@BoombapArt thank you!! I'm working on a sample based beat and after some testing, I think I'll just keep adding and then remove some samples by the end. I only need to get a good piano sample and it's done (probably gonna play it myself via plugins)
