How much latency do you think is optimal for performing and recording with pad controllers such as your Maschine Mikro mk3? Obviously going as low as you can is the best option, but the CPU will start to show its shortcomings.
I’d say I have little to no latency when when using Maschine with the Mikro controller. I do have an M1 still but 16 Gb of ram. Prior to that I had an i5 with 8 GB of ram which performed solid at first but I had that computer 8 years and it became harder to use for production as it would freeze and sometimes Maschine would just close all together and I’d have to restart
