You can actually just activate "one shot" in serato in the top left so you don't need to hold the previous pad when creating chops. EDIT: Neither don't you need to increase the release. You can even select end markers so the chops ends at a certain points.
sick vid man.. been using maschine myself for years ! howd did u get that recording extension on your browser to record samples off of the internet if you dont mind me asking
Thanks! I’ve got a complete explanation and tutorial about sidechaining here - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-H2i4tEreWSw.htmlsi=7GCJ7a2jk8FWT2bW
Best Maschine videos on the You Tube hands down 🔥. Do you or have you used Battery with Maschine. If so can you make a tutorial on how to use it with Maschine.
Thank you so much! I can look into making such video but I don't use it in Maschine tbh, only in Ableton Live sometimes. It's pretty much the same thing as Maschine's groups, sampler and effects and the expansions kits are the same too. But maybe I'm missing something?
Whats the sampling software you used to record the sample from RU-vid? It said sample in the top right of the screen while you were sampling from RU-vid
I don’t know of another sampler that has the same features. If your Mac is too old, there’s a software called Open Core legacy patcher that would enable you to install a newer Mac Os.
The only sampler I'm using is Serato Sample. But maybe you're referring to the Chrome extension I use to record samples from RU-vid? It's called "Sample".
Is there a way for me to route the maschine into my serato pro dj to play it live while mixing live? Do i just use the output into one of the lines of the mixer?
the prob with this flow is that if youre straight cooking from scratch, you gotta make a pattern, export it, and then load it into Serato. Making extra steps/files/locations that are a bummer. am i missing something?
Not at all - you can drag and drop your patterns you've made in Maschine as audio straight into Serato Sample (the resample as audio icon on top of the MIDI editor). But I'm curious, why do you use Serato Sample when composing from scratch? You can resample your own compositions with the built-in Sampler.
Can you make a video about how to use the maschine controller editor with flstudio? I would like to learn how to mapping the DAW interface and have a similar workflow. I don't know if is possible to add PC shortcuts because some times is not possible to mapping transport controls but you can open son windows with the PC keyboard.
Hey, I would make such video but I’m not an FL Studio user. I don’t think you can get anywhere near the level of integration and have a similar workflow outside of the Maschine software though.
It’s not for the real time recording and slice triggering but for stem separation, real-time timestretch and key detection. I do agree that it’s not super necessary but it does provide some convenience and people use it a lot.
Even if they do, I'm not sure it's possible to add the waveform visualisation. I'd rather they just add the features that make Serato Sample a compelling option to the Maschine sampler.
@@LowHeatBeats 100% They already have it with the AU, but for some reason you can't chop those samples in AU mode. It feels like this is a no brainer! The auto stemming though would be pretty fun and something new - maschine 3.0 maybe?
beat is FIRE. but is there a way to use the knobs to adjust start and end points on your chops?....or do you have to do it all with the mouse?....adjusting with the knobs is what makes maschine so fun to use.
You can change the playhead position of Serato Sample with the Maschine knobs, but I don't think you can adjust the start and end points. The waveform isn't displayed on the Maschine screen, so even if you could, the experience wouldn't be the same as using the internal sampler. Glad you enjoyed the beat!
@@LowHeatBeats I seen another video that said you can use the seek buttons on the machine to adjust the start and end points?….can’t try it myself cause I don’t have a Maschine. I sold it last year and I’m regretting it now🤦🏻♂️....bout to buy a new one now that they got that cyber deal going. New machine with 12 free expansions. Not bad!...gotta get back in the game.
@@MindOverMatter36 You can use the seek control and the pads to create slice markers, but I couldn't find a way to change them after you do that. Probably still useful though.
