Been using izotope RX for a while, but the integration of this plug-in into logic is much easier since it chops and records midi into your track. I've made 15 beats in 3 days using this joint!
I like it. I use it differently because I’m an MPC guy. I only make one “long” chop and then bring it over to the mpc after I get it exactly how I want it
See Serato sample 2.0 is great this is not hurting producers it’s helping producers it’s a great tool maybe this will be a wake up call for akai and native instruments to do a better job with their samplers this can compete against them as of right now beat maker 3 and Serato sample to me in my point of you has the best sampler out right now for a reasonable price. I love my MPC Live and my machine MK3 but we have to keep it a buck here the sampler can be way better than it is now
Guilty 🤚🏿, even though I still love serato studio and I still use it every now and then on my laptop mostly, I found myself using serato sample more and more on a daily basis inside my mpc software with my mpc live 2 since i've updated to version 2.0.
2.0 is dope as hell but my only gripe with it is there’s no way to export your stem separated sample if you’re working on hardware as well as no manual cue points
Fam.. This is make me want sample all day! .. Is Logic , Serato , and Battery.. is all you need no More MPC / Maschine. What’s the best Controller to use with Serato? A lot of hardware gear is gonna collect dust ..
My Mpc Live 2 ain't collecting dust since I updated my serato sample to version 2.0, believe you me, it kinda was collecting dust before, but since the 2.0 update I've been banging out almost 3 to 4 beats a day with serato sample inside my Mpc software using my Mpc live 2 to trigger the samples and make the beats, and what makes it more appealing is that i can choose to lock the notes of the scale inside my mpc live 2 that serato sample provides with whichever sample i'm using at that specific moment so i can play chords and melodies without staying out of key.🔥🔥🔥🔥 Since the serato sample 2.0 update I've been using my mpc more than ever before on a daily basis.
@@themrworldwide That’s what’s up Basically I started on the MPC 2000 back in dayz .. Got tired of Zip drives.. NI maschine.. mk1-mk3.. Love the Sampler and Sounds .. The Arrangement ( Scene) it’s ok .. Purchase a MPC live .. Akai Sequencer . Is the best for song structure. How do you assign the 32 pads on Serato to Program 1 Bank A/B .. 16 times 2 on the MPC live ? Can you make a video.. don’t want to use a mouse or Keyboard ⌨️. Need pads and midi keyboard.. when I bring Serato into the MPC 2 software! Please show me!
@Phrozen716 What's up bro, first and foremost I don't make videos on youtube, at least not yet, but I can teach you how to control serato sample on the mpc live, it's really easy... 1. Load serato sample as a plugin on the mpc. 2. Press and hold the shift button on the mpc, while holding the shift button press the 16 level or notes button to get to pad pad perform. 3. Inside the pad perform go to where it says scale & octave, by default this is set to A Major when you open it. 4. Change the scale and octave from A Major to C Chromatic change your pad bank to A on the pad bank buttons by default your scale notes will be set to C-2, just change it to C1. You're done, now you can play the serato sample plugin on all the 16 pads on the mpc just like you normally do, and if you wanna change to more pads so you can play the other chops just change from pad bank A to pad bank B and so on. This is one of the better explainer videos I've seen. Thanks! For me, I want to ne able to separate the medolic parts from each other (separate strings from piano etc not just drums, bass, and vocals). But it seems Serato cannot to this?
I don’t sample anymore, but man I think it’s dope as hell that there’s a software that can separate the different elements of a sample! That’s hard man!
Serato, to me, could be better when it comes to separation without artifacts; until then, I will not update to 2.0. I am tired of adding unimportant features instead of the primary concern of getting rid of artifacts.
If everyone is wanting stem seperation,all the majir DAW makers should come up wurh a new wrapper for files so you can jjst open a song in a DAW and see each individual track or at least narrow it down to freq ranges. Like when you open a .mov file in a DAW and you get the video file seperate from the audio file. I underatand it is alot more cimplicated but Im sure it can be done. Codecs or wrappers ya know. Thats where rhwyd have to do it at.
When I saw this on some other vid I immediately picked it up. Afro beats especially suffer from really good melody or bass but you wanna get rid of the vocals and the drums and its a pain for me, this thing perfectly partitioned the tracks I tried it with. I feel like I can sample anything now lol
so i downloaded serato sample 2.0 and when i installed it, not only did 2.0 didn't come up - but the old version didnt either. am i doing something wrong with installation? i tried the repair, i tried removing it, and nothing seem to work. i had to re-install the old version (for the old version to work again) >> laughing!!
Yo Bolo, this just spoke to me while watching this video. Maybe when referring to your drumkits you should use the word "inexpensive" instead of "cheap". Value wise your drum kits are some of the best I've used and the word "cheap" doesn't sit well with my spirit. 😂 Just something to consider and only my 2 cents bro. ✌🏿
i use serato sample 2.0 on my macbook pro 14" with m1 max and 64gb ram within my mpc software. but everytime i use it, i hear crackle sound issues in my speakers which make SS2 useless for me. do anybody have the same issues and know how to fix that??
hi, great video. I want this plugin but I have a question. Very often I sample from vinyl with rather poor 45s by sampling on SP 404. How accurate is the separation section of drums, bass, melody, vocals?
