Haha I tend to get super pushy about the things that I value. Such as media/music taste. So many times I get angry about reviews, feeling like the reviewers missed the mark. My mates are sick of me compulsively showing them my favourite type of music. If they don’t like it I feel internally offended, but don’t outburst as I understand that it is irrational to do so and immature. I also tend to find rational explanation for why they don’t like it, and why I do even though I don’t need to 😂 the worst is when someone talks over my favourite tunes while I’m showing them, and then makes a quick brash judgment that they dislike it. makes me wanna rip their head off 😂 Would you say this is Masculine saviour Fi pushing values backed up by inferior feminine Te seeking tribe validation to feed the saviour?

I think I get it. Like me trying to get certain folks to understand why certain jobs and career paths require an advanced degree and they not just disagreeing with that societal truth but also attacking me, personally, for having pursued a degree in the first place. It’s a-okay with me if one thinks the way certain things work is open to critique and that the rules/regulations behind it are faulty; just don’t go attacking me on a personal level for having deciphered “the game,” if you will, and playing it to my advantage. “Just tryna help you succeed.”

this is a good idea for a video of what to clarify because i see the masculine decider as one the things ppl get the most often confused about since whether it is a savior or demon can impact how pushy someone is on people, like i have masculine saviors (FF Ti/Ni, tribe typed) but i seem like and thought i was M-De for so long because im just naturally a bit aggressive but what i didnt know was that my demons were feminine, while my friend who has feminine saviors (MM Ne/Fi) is definitely very feminine in a savior state, but her punchy side comes out as a demon

i think im f-Ti savior and m-Fe. I have ideas but im very flexible in my approach to what serves the tribe best overall. I sometimes will not budge on certain things but I can be dissuaded or convinced. My masculine or rigid expression of Fe is primarily focused on setting a vibe, if i care to engage it. Im the one in the party making sure everyone feels as good as I do - it’s a sharing of a feeling. I also do this because i try to crack jokes and make ppl laugh, trying to make the room to feel good.

I've been thinking about this since i watched it this morning and had to come back to share some thoughts! We can think of our masculine functions as shaping the feminine ones. For example, I have masculine Se, so the explanations my Ni comes up with depend on Se. Where i think that feminine Se would be explained more as 'exceptions to the Ni rule.' If i come across Se information that doesn't align with my Ni theory, I modify my theory. As a M Ni, do you find that if you come across data that doesn't fit into your theory, you spend time figuring out how it in fact, does fit in? I've also had a hard time figuring out the M/F orientation of my Te-Fi. I thought for a while that my Te was feminine because I am always open to new and better ways to do things. But now I'm thinking my Fi is actually feminine because my values are shaped by Te. And my openness to new Te ideas is more coming from my desire to find the ultimate Te way of how things work. As I learn more about how Te works, my Fi develops around it. So as I learn more about trauma responses, attachment styles, etc, my values for compassion and kindness and identity are shaped from understanding how people experience these things, for example. I've been following Dave and Shan and though they are brilliant, it's still helpful to hear OP explained in different ways!! Your videos have helped me expand my understanding of their topics!

Check out how Kamala Harris argues: she funnels her personal emotions from when she was a child all the way into her lead-Te arguments, and the part that really stands out and she gets almost emotional about is when it comes from that masculine Fi at the bottom.

Oh my ti is definitely masculine lol although I feel like the whole m/f thing definitely pushes stereotypes but I do see myself as a very pushy individual when it comes to my logic but I mostly go with the flow when it comes to others’ values or their preferences. Also don’t know about my ne-si axis tbh

Okay so I'm a M- Te and F-Fi. Though, on some topics that are a strong moral point for me I stand my ground and will argue the point ,but I get way to emotional. Trying to work on getting my point across without feeling like I am personally being attacked.

Well I'm a little confused... I'm INTJ and I am definitely more unapologetic and give no quarter with my Fi values (even though I don't use them as often as Te, I think of them as like stepping on a landmine), and more laid back with my Te. Even if I think the logic of something should be obvious to the whole wide world and something will turn out dumb I'll usually let it go because I often feel pessimistic about convincing someone their rationale is inadequate... I figure they'll probably just get emotional or offended and I don't want to deal with that so I'm rarely pushing Te. But... I don't expect other people to take on MY Fi values, I don't push them in that sense. I figure someone else can be free to value different things. Like, I wouldn't eat foie gras if the President himself or the pope etc served it to me but I don't care if they help themself. I'm just uncertain because even though my Fi is like if you don't like it there's the door and my Te is like let me gently try to steer you in this direction, it's not like I'm telling anyone you must value what I value.

For NeTi (masculine Ne and feminine Ti) Do you think it would/could make sense my savior feminine Ti to feel like no one wants to listen to it and feel an outward sense of inferiority when it’s expressed, but wishing desperately to share itself and engage in idea sharing? I’ve been unofficially typed NeFi, but it makes no sense as I am incredibly unaware of how I feel (it’s very generalized and I know I’m good or bad but not much beyond that) and my entire value system is ethically based (and I fight tirelessly at my work solving problems for people at work - it literally is my job)I always feel like I’m arguing with people if I ever share my thoughts and so I don’t share my thoughts because of a profound need to protect the vibe in a room. But then I’m disgruntled because I just wanted to have a conversation. People always stereotype ENTP for being brash and insensitive and although I often am that internally and it can leak out, my priority is to keeping the peace.

ENTP here (Ti over Fe) and yes,... I am more reluctant to have my own ("flawless") logic challenged, so I keep quiet when people make fallacies or whatever, save for a snark little smirk that drives everyone's testosterone toward punching me..... but I do get confrontational in social situations when my "position" in the circle gets threatened. So, I think I push with that demon Fe? More like childish Fe, it's probably 3rd

I think the functions themselves have a masculine/feminine bias, and we have a masculine/feminine bias ourselves, which reflects our choice of second function for our savior animal. By choice, I mean the impulse that orders our function preference within our own minds. So Shannon, Te-Se started masculine Te and went to Masculine Se. Because she has both the tendency and preference for masculinity, more or less, she takes more of the same. You, however, lack the initial cognitive framework for masculinity, but have the conscious preference for it, so while you started off with feminine Ni, you on some level, prefer the stronger, masculine Te than the passive Fi. At least, that's what it seems like from my gatherings, so far. For me, Ti tells me when things in the world are wrong. From there, I can explore the possibilities (feminine Ne) or just use my memory to determine what it likely is and just go with that. (Masculine Si) If not that, make another conclusion. Not very open. As a man in touch with his femininity, I follow my Ti with Ne. I choose to live a life of conscious, interested curiosity rather than closed, know-it-all approach to life. Neither is wrong. But from Ti, one was a (more) extra masculine choice, the other a feminine. Just my views and experiences. Something to consider.
