Eating steak, mushrooms and tomatoes with some salad while watching lol. We had rain today and it was really cold no afternoon sun today. The splats look like the last leaves leaving the tree
Lovely cards once again Jo and once again you make it look so easy! I would love either of these cards and sometimes us ladies do enjoy something other then flowers and really who doesn’t love trees! Here are 2 hints that I find very helpful and anyone new to stamping may find them helpful as well. Now experienced stampers such as yourself probably already know these things and or have no need for these but some of us continue to struggle and hopefully learn. 1- I’ve used and struggled with various inks over the years trying to get nice crisp detail image only to be upset when it doesn’t turn out. The not so secret secret is VersaFine Clair ink , especially for the lovely detail in Lavinia stamps! 2- I don’t see them used much in videos but I find a stamping platform the perfect solution when you have a image that for one reason or another hasn’t stamped clearly or completely. You can stamp multiple times and you don’t have to worry about getting it in the same spot , also helpful for image placement when creating a scene.
Beautiful ..love this card and image ..Great video and you have a lovely gentle voice ..Thankyou ..I shall catch up and look at the previous ones you have done
Such lovely ideas, thanks Jo. I’ve got my Father-in-law’s birthday coming up and then my own Father’s, and these designs will be perfect. You always apologise for these long videos but I love them, the longer the better as far as I’m concerned! When I’m crafting, I can almost hear you reminding me to wipe my hands and blot my work! So your tips are really helpful, thanku 😊
I´m an absolute beginner with stamping, and your videos are so inspiring and helpful! People like you, who take the time to make such great videos allow us out there to learn such wonderful new crafting techniques, I´m very grateful and I say thank you so very much! Lot´s of best wishes from Germany!
I always love you and your cards. It is so nice to pretend that we are crafting together. Your words is always so clean and simple in such a good way. Thank you
Lovely techniques as usual. I find it hard to get the inspiration to make cards for men. I will definitely make more now. I see you always use the oxides for water colouring, they always look so soft. You make it all look so easy. Thank you so much. Look forward to seeing you and I know it’s tea time and a Kit Kat. 🇨🇦.
Absolutely gorgeous, I love the idea of less being more. All those tiny details; shading, highlights & splatter make such a difference. Really enjoyed my break, along with you, before I cook tea 😊
I love your tutorials Jo, it’s like visiting with an old friend for a crafty session! If only you could bottle your inspiration, I’d be your first customer 💖💖💖
Thank you Jo for doing these cards. I’m going to give them a go. They’re lovely. Love your videos and I’m currently watching at 4.30am.... your videos keep me from going mad with insomnia.... although now I’ll be itching to get up and make cards 😆😆
Ooh I'll have a try at the owl one this weekend - my lavinia order hopefully will arrive by then. It has the owl in it, but not the firs. Those will have to be in my next one!
Thanks for another lovely tutorial, I’m quite new to your videos and to Lavinia Stamps and you’ve really helped give me the confidence to play and create after a very long time searching for my missing mojo. 😊
Thank you for this demo.🤩Lovely cards,as always😍And two in one video.can I ask where you bought the big blending brush?Thank you for all the inspirasjon and tips you give us🥰
Hi Jeanette, thanks for watching , the large stencil brush is from Clarity stamps, it is a sash brush and to be honest you can find them in home decor stores. Here in the uk I have seen them in Aldi and B&Q ....hope that helps ....xx
Christine, thanks so much for watching, when using pan pastels, pastels and chalk pastel pencils if there is a large area it is a good idea to fix it with a spray fixative. I find with smaller areas I just blot them to remove any excess dust and then they are ok....it really is individual preference.
