I really love all your videos. Your voice is so pleasant to hear and all your directions are very easy to understand. You are a treasure, for sure. Bless you Jo🙏
It is never boring watching you colour because I am always learning from you the different techniques and how you are doing things. Thank you from 🇨🇦Calgary, Alberta🇨🇦
I know they are old but they are beautiful Jo... I love them all and the colours are gorgeous... it's just the ideas that are so important and they also sell more stamps!...😁... thank you so much for showing these...😊😍
Hi Jo, I'm new to your channel and to Lavinia stamps, I have absolutely fallen in love with the stamps and I'm really enjoying catching up with your videos and learning new techniques so just wanted to nip in and thank you. I got myself a brew and a piece of Soreen and sat and relaxed watching 😊
Thankyou Jo, I got a couple of your stamps for Christmas so came on for some inspiration on how to use them to their best.. Most informative. New follower from Adelaide, Australia.
Hi Jo. Thank you for these cards. I haven’t done anything for at least 2 weeks over Christmas, New Years. I’m sending you lots of 🌞🌞🌞 from Geelong Victoria Australia, to brighten up your day. Sending hugs too, because we could all do with a hug. I’m looking forward to watching more of your videos this year. Please take care and stay safe and well 😘
Welcome June, you know we all start somewhere, the more you use inks and stamps the more creative you become...if ever you fancy joining in with my pre recorded classes, they are only £6 and last for at least an hour. You can stop them whenever you need and watch them as many times as you want....and I try and take things nice and slowly....just a thought that they might help...no pressure at all... or if you need any help , just drop me an email jrcrafts28@gmail.com ....hugs xx
Thank you Jo for the inspiration. I have just bought my first Lavinia stamps today and I am so excited to have a play. Thinking of you all over in the UK prayers for saftey and good health, from Kilcoy Queensland Australia x
Jo, I started watching your videos a few weeks ago, and I absolutely love listening to you talk. Usually I watch crafting videos on mute, but your voice and the laid back narrative are an essential part of the whole experience. I feel I am in the studio with you, enjoying a cup of tea and a leisurely, completely stress free hour of crafting. Hoping for more videos. Happy New Year!
I am so pleased that you feel that way, that is the whole vibe that I am aiming for, I think we all need, happy, relaxed crafty times, especially at the minute...xx☕️
Oh my goodness, Jo. I ordered the winter berry stamps and have been afraid to try making a card. I’ve watched your video numerous times. I jumped in today and made one and I am so proud of myself. I don’t think I’ve ever seen or heard of winter berries but I fell in love with your card. I can’t wait to make more. That one is going to a dear friend of mine battling cancer. Thank you. Yes, every video you do makes me want more stamps but I’ll find a way to slowly purchase more. Thanks for sharing. Please continue to wow me!
I know this is an old video tutorial, but this is a fabulous new technique for me I'm fairly new to Lavinia stamps and zdostress Oxides, so double whammy for me . Bless you Jo I love your videos it's like being in the same room. ❤
Beautiful cards Jo, I really love those berries! It's a very hot weekend here in Tassie, expecting mid 30s Celsius by Monday which is high for Tassie! 😊💕
Jo, Happy New Year to you and your family! I have watched several of your videos and I enjoy watching you so much! Your voice is so soothing and you truly inspire Me to give it a go! You are now on My RU-vid Playlist for quick reference to your videos and screenshots to remember techniques I'd like to try. Really glad I found you Jo! Thanks so much!! From San Diego, California. USA
Welcome back Jo, missed your fabulous videos. After the christmas card bonanza, now we are back to reality and making general cards - yes, lost my mojo and craving ideas. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year? Thank you for your fab video. Take care, be safe xxx ❤️❤️❤️
Fabulous Jo! You are our inspiration to being creative. Simple but such beautiful toppers, love them all. The orange one in particular warms my heart, so gorgeous. Thank you for your time and your excellent tips to enjoy what we do without any pressure at all for creating something so very beautiful xx😘
Happy New Year, it’s lovely to have you back. As a new maker the idea of a background session looks really practical, as well as a fun way to practice techniques (they’re all new to me!). I had not thought about using my Inktense pencils on tiny berries so it will be fun to have a go. The addition of the white highlight finished them off perfectly. I’ve put white pen on my husband’s ‘essential’ shopping list!
They are beautiful cards-love these!🌹 Yesterday some new stamps arrived and I cann't wait to get started. Thank you for the tips and video's-learn a lot of these.
Wow! I love those cards! I only have one of Lavinia’s stamps - Believe - but plan on getting more - but I wasn’t sure how to use the inktense pencils and now I’m sold on them!
I think that dark orange would have looked quite nice across the entire top edge of the last card. Very nice technique! I love the black vs. white card backing to test your topper ; ) and loved the moon/sun template❣
Happy New Year to you and family, and hope that you are feeling much better, As always I love your ideas and colour schemes - which is my dreaded nightmare - but am making lots of backgrounds, but I am still just a little heavy handed, but Hey ho! it can only get better. Hugs Elizabeth Q .
I’ve treated myself to some new products and my Lavinia order arrived yesterday 👍😀. I showed an unboxing on my very small channel yesterday.im looking forward to playing. Loved the tip about the black sharpie as I always mat and layer with black
Thank you so much for this first hand tutorial. Life has dealt me some curveball and I want to craft but am afraid of messing up. Now seeing this I will be giving this a go. Thank you for giving me my mojo back and I look forward to more, also getting to know the group x
Hello Jo, Happy New Year, I am so glad your video was recommended to me. These cards you did are so beautiful, i love your technique. Thank you, stay safe. From Ontario, Canada,
Happy New Year from Perth, Western Australia. It was 42 degrees Celsius here yesterday ☀️. Sending you some of our sunshine. Thanks for your inspirational videos. I have learnt so much. Wendy
Hi Jo, thank you so much for sharing this perfect for me as I'm trying to get started and create the background but I failed miserably last night, not sure if it was new large gell press brayer that was problem or person using it ! I tried beating over the small round gell plate with Spectrum noir colour pads which produced a mess of colours , then I tried the distress ink pads thinking you use these this must work but still a mess , but I didnt brayer off before I put brayer onto the gelli plate so maybe that's where I went wrong, I think like you said I need to just practice and play so I think I shall cut some squares up and keep playing .For the backgrounds do you use the Versafine Clair ink pads as well as the Distress ones as I cant seem to find the colour box ones . You are so inspiring thank you again for all the tips and techniques. Xx
Hi Wendy, hope you are keeping well, and your lovely husband too..If you could drop me an email please , I can send you all the information for my online workshops....hugs xx jrcrafts28@gmail.com
Hello Jo I’m really enjoying your tutorials, one of many questions I would like to ask you is the make of the water colour pencils you use, I have stampin up water colour pencils also Prismacolor pencils but I can’t get the rich colour than you get, I think I would be a good investment to get the right ones, many thanks to you xx
Thank you so much for watching my little videos, the pencils that I use are the Inktense pencils from Derwent they are water reactive....and I just adore them xx❤️
Beautiful as always love the weathered wood haven’t used that in a long time for some reason but will now What size card are you using? Looks very square which I love but will it fit in a reg size envelope
Lovely to have you join our family on here, the off cuts that I used are 11cm x 11cm , they then look great on a 6x6inch card blank or can have a few Matt and layers and go on a 7x7 card blank....xx😏
@@JoRice Thank you. I have just found where comments go to on you tube and I can see that you’ve answered the same question a couple of times...sorry! Another lesson learned by me!
Thanks so much for watching, An Inky Binky is just a piece of cloth to mop up and clean up with,,.saved using kitchen roll etc…Mine is a material napkin,,,xx🧡
I just found your videos and love your ideas for backgrounds. Quick question: where do you find the little disc? That is a very cool tool. Also, what is the difference between watercolor pencils and inktense pencils? Look forward to watching more of your videos and hopefully you can provide me with some answers to my questions.
Hi Steph, I just use a ( biodegradable ) baby wipe , I find for me it works well, if they get really inky and won’t stick well to my block I just gently wash them in soapy water and let them dry....hope that helps xx
