The only thing that could pry me away from watching countless hours of high school boy's wrestling footage is a notification that a new cmtwn animation has hit the presses!
Ironically it's actually not in a gay way or anything. I just love the potential of a young boys body. There's so much art and beauty to find in the movement and resistance of force that naturally occurs in wrestling. Again. Not in a gay way. (Not that there's anything wrong with that.)
The improv in this clip was great. It has a slope, it goes from a funny basic satire setup, to building upon the concepts, to being creatively stagnant (not unfunny but brick-walled), to being even more funny. That bounce back proves their improv is plastic, and makes the comedy.
I'm really glad that at the end Nick does figure out that XYY people being hypermasculine is an old myth lol. I was really tempted to annoyingly fact check that.
When you wrote “he’s like pro-Hillary stavros” I started typing a comment saying “so just regular stavros?” And then saw you wrote that a second later and that got me good. People forget how insanely woke they all are.
Sex chromosomes are weird, and you can have basically every weird number or combination possible and still turn out okay (Like XXY, XYY, XXX, only one X etc). Except the hypothetical YY person they suggested, that doesnt work.
God damn dudes the world is so gay now when listening to this I got lost in this effervescent time capsule of things being not as gay and it really bums me out.
jesus christ man how old is this episode, the r word hasn't been used as a medical term in decades,, I feel like it's extremely widely know that it's a slur/considered extremely offensive :,( idk that much about these guys besides stavros, I just really like your animations, but PSA for anyone watching, please don't use the r-slur. it doesn't mean "really stupid" , don't use it as an insult. Just be nice. if you're referring to a disabled person just refer to their disability. also XYY syndrome is an intersex condition, they may have learning disabilities but most commonly it just manifests as being really tall.
