@MrSirGiuseppe sure u can make a 4cyl car fast but you spend way more money to do so...but we were talking about a v6 anyway and I didn't mention anything about the power or performance of said engine
@@MrSirGiuseppe just look at subaru and evos. They made 440hp out of a i4 2.0l AND IT WAS STILL EXTREMELLY RELIABLE. I ve seen people make out 1200hp out of the stock block engine on the evo
@@MrSirGiuseppe there is no replacement for displacement. A good engine will be around 80-85 torque per liter. You cannot really go above that naturally aspirated so the only way to make more torque is displacent and boost, but boost fucks up your throttle response and is the easy way. Priority 1 of a performance engine should be getting Bmep as close to 15 as possible. Priority 2 should be finding a way to cram as big of an engine as you can into your car considering all limitations. Priority 3 is to make it rev high reliably. Boost is a shortcut to create high numbers for marketing purposes while cheaping out on actual engine quality
The MC12 is my favorite exotic vehicle ever made, i think its sinply beautiful, but honestly i think most Maserati are. Despite knowing their depreciation and unreliability, if i could find one in my financial zone, it take it in a heartbeat.
I love the way the car looks, it reminds me of a Valkyrie. Honestly if someone really cared about the performance they would either swap the engine or just get another car. If you can’t afford to swap the engine then I doubt you can afford the car. This is more of an affordable show car for the rich.
like nexus said, v6’s are light. and you can do tons of things to them. i get it, a lot of newer people in the car scene think v6’s, i4’s, etc are “weak” bc they have fewer pistons than v8’s and the big boys. but dont ever let that fool you
@@neckrohsthat’s why ion care ppl say stuff to me about my V6 Challenger. It has auto AWD and I could slap a super charger in and get 100-200+ hp added just by spending around 10-15k and still be able to drive it in snow or sht rain.

if the car cant go fast the tires wont heat too much and if they add vents to cool the already not so hot tires, they will become colder and will lose grip. For engine I think it would be cool tho

Well unless you're going 150 on the road daily driving in the Maserati those tires would be cold also.. even with the best tire possible when cold they don't grip.. that's why drag strips are super sticky for top fuel and those tires they use are very soft and sticky already and expensive
The thing that kills the entire car is the shifter. It looks so bad that it might as well make the entire car depreciate from 250-9 grand in 2.4 seconds flat.
It really is a bummer. I like the look of Maseratis and before I knew about them and asked my mechanic about it, he told me he wouldn’t work on the car if I bought it.
@@07Lightless it all depends on how long they last. Maserati is good at making beautiful cars but for whatever reason their reliability and reputation drives them down and while yes this could potentially be an exception. They're gonna have to do a full 180 before the memes and resale value tanking just because it's a Maserati turns around.

European car manufacturer regulations I’m afraid as believe me no super car manufacturer wants to install a soft rev limiter or a PPF ( petrol particulate filter ) but to satisfy regs they have to make sacrifices somewhere unfortunately or face massive fines for not meeting emissions rules .

Yess it is and fits tall people i was in love as soon as i got into it the seats are comfortable as well its worth the money only thing i wish is that it had active aero but thats about it everything else is perfect
