Reminds me of my first spy kill. I was new to the game, playing demoman. I saw a spy turn invisible and freaked out, just swinging my whiskey bottle everywhere. Then I saw his corpse fly away from me. Felt good.

I remember seeing this comic for the first time and then having nightmares for 3 days of that thing chasing me through the halls of Tuefort trying not to let my head be added to that monstrosity
I'd probably have a mini heart attack and burn my computer. Being decapitated by a demoknight that appeared out if nowhere is scary enough..but this thing.. it scares me far more.

What is that... *THING!?* Also, I’d like to point out you can still see Demoman’s arms and shield. Nice touch to the artist’s attention to detail. And the Sniper’s face is priceless.
The reason why pyro is running away is to him/her/it/humaniod spider is that the demonman is a giant heap of babies with which in my opinion is so much worse
But there's one error: If he takes off of enemy spies he kills, then wouldn't his team see him as that monstrosity and the enemy team see him as a demoman with masks? Or is it like the opposite team sees the people and the wearers team sees masks? I'm sorta confused but overall great comic!
Personnally,i think it adapts to who wears it as apposed to who it originated from. So if a blu spy dies and a red merc scavenges it,it'll adjust to the new owner's team color and give them the disguise.
Following up, the blues should see blue sleeves on all the corpses, maybe also Demoman. Or, because they were all blue team masks, they remain as the red team variant, the allied team just knows.
@@simbachvazo6530 Actually, spy can disguise as his own team! It can be presumed that by some ungodly miracle that this Demoknight has simply only claimed RED merc masks.
TF2 logic: if you're wearing any one color outfit and you put a mask of someone you become exactly like that person but without things like speed, strenght, etc. And everyone who is using the same color in their entire outfit see you just with a mask on your face. *_proceeds to put 50 masks on_*
Well that does seem to help with not getting hit. Could you imagine the sounds that thing would make if shot? Especially if he got headshotted, even then good luck finding the real head!
to be fair, that’s how I would react to demoknights anyways. Or Demoman in general. There is a reason why the character who runs is Demoman’s strongest counter.
So demoman just turned into that thing at the end of Spongebob Tentacle pants. That should be a real cosmetic, Like on commuinty servers enemies will see a fusion of evry class.
It makes sense for pyro to act the most scared, considering all the men he sees are flying babes with wings. that's just a biblically accurate angel with extra steps.
That should be a demo-man weapon.... melee weapon: the mask taker whenever you kill a spy take their current or recently used mask. Stats I’d say it works the same as that sword that grants more max health on kill but with the added visuals of the bodies for each spy killed.
and a nightmare for snipers, imagine, a demoman with all the bodies of your team, with each head clipping in the massive body of this thing, and you aim for, let's say, the engineer's head. *And Its A Freaking BodyShot*
Now that I think about it, the bodies coming out of him are red bodies, so that means he’s been team killing friendly spies for their masks and adding it to his collection
