Very nice demo (apart from the single coil slip ;-)) but that is easily forgiven. Your tone is much better than on the other demonstrations I saw. Even when I compare with the official ones from reverend. Great " retro vibe" tone. Now I wonder is it just the guitar or are you an exceptional guitar player ?

Thanks very much for another cool demo Will ! I'm seriously considering buying some RB-equipped Reverend : I do like this raw sound (on the edge of natural saturation). But if I may ask one question : how would you describe the RB against the RT pups ? otherwise which of the RT or the RB would you say has the "humbuckiest" capacities ?
Thanks Simon! Hmmmm- that is a good question. I honestly haven’t a/b’ed them yet. I enjoyed the rt’s that I’ve played on- club king, Pete Anderson, and Flatroc. The RB’s on this guitar were great for surf rock, rockabilly, jazz and blues... the humbuckier of the two... I think I would go with the RB. Are you anywhere near bham? We have a Contender RB and a Flatroc in stock right now.
This sounds great. I like the way it cuts with that bass roll off. What Reverend Guitar is the closest to a Stratocaster? The Billy Corgan or this RB? I love maple necks and single coils but not married to them. I just want a modernized version of a Strat. And Reverend guitars look beautiful. Nice review.

On the Reverend guitar website they talk about the pickups and their design, they compare them to something between a filtertron and a classic Rickenbacker.

I will try to get the weight for you. They certainly vary, but the Korina wood body makes them fairly light, while keeping a great resonance. The neck profile is a medium oval, so in the same world as a 'C.'
