I discuss the LEGO City, Winter Village, the future, and much more. I also come up with a new design for traffic lights for the LEGO City, take my son for his first haircut cut, and much more.

Jordan, you are a driven man balancing an impossible number of things, and it's not like supporting your family through a tenuous thing like video content about a crazy expensive hobby with never ending possibilities. It would be weird if you DIDN'T have anxieties. I'm constantly amazed when I look at your output and your schedule. When the kids were born, you talked about slowing down for a while, and the fans were universally supportive. And yes, we recognize that doing less videos also affects the finances potentially, which is only part of the cycle of worries. But you need to take care of yourself to be able to take care of your family, and THEN to worry about us. I have no doubt that however you choose your path(s), you'll be successful at it, and we'll be here to take the ride with you. Mental health is so important; if you need to, find someone to just talk to. Then come back with a clearer mind and flex that imagination and joy. EDIT: Oh and the kids are SO BIG! Benny was definitely due for that haircut. Lookin' sharp! :w

Anxiety is a perfectly normal emotion to have. Just allow yourself feeling anxious. When we are anxious we can do 2 thing. Act on it, like for example minimising all the risks of getting a new place. Or accept it, accept that this is a big step for you, youre family and youre company and that some things are not in youre control. I love seeing youre lego journey every single day

Whilst I love your Lego content, I'm also a huge fan of you as a person. You're a genuinely nice guy, with an adorable family to match. Very watchable & likeable. Don't be afraid to make more Vlogs. I know you're a huge COD gamer, so a glimpse into that aspect of your life would be cool, along with your snowboarding. Either way keep doing you, your traffic lights are bangin' and Happy Holidays from my family to yours.

In Italy we have so many old arches and pieces of medieval buildings on the sidewalks. I think the arch close to the dragon looks great as people can walk through it and it looks like the city has authentic history and preservation qualities. Please leave it as it is! 😊

Hey Bricksie, I would never be concerned about 'completing' your Lego City, because we all know a Lego city is never truly complete. You'll always have content there even without the new bigger warehouse space. Even if you fill the table, you'll still have portions of the city you aren't 100% happy with, or feel like you want to refresh. After filling up the city, I would then just find whatever about it makes you the least happy and pull that out and improve/destroy/replace it.

Having moved my business out of my shed to a commercial building was a huge move and even with all the issues at the start its worth it to do what you need to do in your own space and at the end of the day, closing the door and leaving it behind and going home.

You should make it so the traffic lights are only at the 4 way intersections because they don’t normally have them at 3 way ones. You wouldn’t have the weird one at the 3 ways and you would use less. Love your content!

content ideas could be literally anything from showing us how you arrived at making benches, your thoughts on adding trash bins around the city, your table designs for your city. You have alot of smaller scale content ideas that can be beneficial to those of us who are putting together our own cities that have found you in the last couple of months. Always appreciate the content, keep it up!

Suggestions for what to build near the hospital: 1) a zen park with a seating area-these days big hospitals have an area for people to relax since being at a hospital can be very stressful even as a visitor 2) a pharmacy-there’s always a pharmacy near by.

I can definitely refer to the anxiety and feeling constantly overwhelmed all the time. What worked for me is just do 1 thing at a time, focus on the next step and then on the next and boom, you're over it. Anyways, no matter what, remember that you're doing a great job and there are people that will support you on the way. P:S. it's my favourite lego themed channel and I watch every video with a big thumbs up placer under it

To help alleviate your completion anxiety: 1. The hospital should move closer to the other tall buildings. It has prime space that would improve with shorter buildings. I think that’s preventing you from figuring out what to put next to it. 2. Now that you have the beautiful Central Park area (👍), do you need the park area next to the hospital? Together with the hospital move, you would have a prime area for development. 3. Move the zoo. I love the zoo! But those mountains in the back should be connected. Move zoo to camp group side, I think, would work. 4a. Imbed Gringott’s in Diagon Alley. A big challenge, but could be worth it. 4b. When Christmas is done, use the Christmas village spot to develop a fabulous Diagon Alley Diorama. Again, more space for the city. 5. Looking forward to the hardware store! As always, thank you for keeping the Lego City and the whole room so lovely and tidy.👍❤️ BTW, that new bamboo table is great.👍

I've commented this before but it would be super cool to see you build an arena for your next big build and put it in the city (maybe when you get the new place)... I'm talking about a huge NHL caliber arena where you could sit a couple hundred minifigures... You could even make it where you could switch the ice for a basketball court

So, I think an interesting idea when the city is ‘complete’, after you’ve done all coverage you want of the finished product, is to tear it down completely and make a series about ‘starting a lego city from scratch’. It will be fun you and both fun and informative for the audience.

Suggestion.. Finish the city. Get it exactly how you want it. Then take all the buildings and move them to a storage facility if you are serious about getting a bigger place. Dont get the new place yet. Take the houses and such that you have (like the home alone house) and start a brand new build on the tables with that as a starting point. We can all watch you build something brand new. Once you are ready to get the new place you will have this city, and whatever you build next on the tables. You could even start building the most epic castle area on the tables. Bring up all of the castles and built out the castle area from your top shelf where the observatory building and castle. That shelf could be your starting point on the table, with a ton of room for expansion... either way, the content you could make going forward will all be built out for the new place and still have you city ready to go sitting in storage.

I've already come up with a few ideas for future content after the city is finished. One is reconfiguring your minifig stories throughout the city and also a "before and after" video to boot. Also, have you ever considered renting out the lego city or the future lego studio you're committing to? I imagine some animators would love to collab and use your settings, figures, and props for stop motion. I'm sure you've already come up with solutions for yourself, but know your feelings are valid and you have already spoiled us with a new video almost everyday. Your upload schedule is exceptional for the content you create. Cut yourself some slack!

Using non transparent studs for green/red lights is a genius technique You have said before that the city is always changing. If you're looking for ideas, you can take a look around the city and see what can be changed and made even better Great to hear an update on the bigger space. Great video

My guy, I've just picked up Lego as a hobby, and what I immediately loved about it is the near infinite iterations one can make in the same footprint . . . what then does "finished" mean in the context of this hobby? Your Eiffel Tower was "finished" but now it's an opportunity for a redo or perhaps use the parts for a bridge or a totally new, modern building. You could make a Lego museum / play center / store . . . there are infinite possibilities!

If you get that place with the messinine, have that area be a coffee bar. Sell coffee and pastries, sponsored by a local bakery, and maybe Tim Hortens. ;) Your new place needs to be a museum of sorts. Also, you need a gift shop. Bricksie t-shirts, mugs, coffee cups and tumblers that have a discount for coffee on the messinine. The museum price should be very nominal, like $3-$5. There needs to be a path through your city so people can see up close what you're working on.

Love your videos ❤ Me and the wife love watching you each day! 💡 Some suggestions for the city: Seeing how well the central park turned out, I would love to see you moving the zoo to the front to create another one of the big open spaces. You could then move the amusement park to where the zoo was, utilizing the height of the rides between the mountains and back of the room. The location where the amusement was can then be used for additional city blocks and possibly suburbs! Just a suggestion for expanding the city project 😊 Again love the content ❤

Not to add to the pile too much, but you still have that skyscraper based on the sanctum sanctorum to finish. I know it’s a can of worms you’re keen to avoid, but I think the next logical step would be LIGHTS! 💡 Remember how you avoided mills plates for ages because it seemed too much, but now you love them? Hi Bricksie, I understand where you are with your life at the moment and the first step to keep your “Work/Life” balance right is to make sure you balance Work, Family and You time. So you have taken the first step to help with your Anxiety Issues, is to first understand what the issues are that are causing the anxiety and work through them to be no longer a issue. Also talking about, especially with your wife, family and friends, as you should not be embarrassed about it. To also help with your anxiety, maybe do a To Do List for your LEGO Projects on a Whiteboard so you can easily update and change as required. Secondly if you haven’t already you need to have a Business Budget and a 1, 3 and 5 Year Plan for the expansion of your business. But always remember Plans can be changed to meet any external changes you may come across. Also as you have said yourself, your LEGO City will never be completed. Build, Destroy and Re-Build. Keep Brickin.

You’re killing it man! I’m amazed at what you accomplish everyday as a RU-vidr/creator/entrepreneur and the amount of creative ideas you come up with is inspiring. You clearly gravitate towards projects that you are most passionate about which leads to the best content! Ideas for added building: jewelry store, car wash, Carvana car vending machine tower, a children’s discover museum with slides going from floor to floor. Just to throw a few at you!

An idea that could be a very cool challenge for you would be a diagonal road through the city.

You know, since a lot of people started working from home, there's a ton of office space sitting empty. My guess is there might be space going cheap because companies don't need so much office space any more. You could rent out a unit or a whole floor within a building, and then you don't need to worry about heating, lighting, security, etc, and there might be room to expand when you need it in the future. There'll likely be a kitchen, and meeting rooms where you can display your collection and set up studio space. Just a thought. Might still be way too pricey for your budget, I really don't know. Whatever you decide, can't wait for the next chapter but please take care of yourself!

If your anxiety has anything to do with having to install traffic lights, may I suggest building roundabouts? You can also build mini roundabouts that don't require a circle island, just a few arrows in the center of the intersection and the same rules would apply. if you have the lego yield signs then you can use them for these intersections. No traffic lights needed. Also if you want to have a real roundabout island intersection then you add nice landscaping details to make the road more pleasant. Thats just my opinion thought so you do you :)

When the city is full you could start to build dioramas in the shelves. Pack up some sets to make space!

Behind the hospital should be some sort of sanctuary and possibly a church of some sort
