I've had some requests to upload this. I am not sure on the exact requirements but I accomplished it like this:
-Legion and Tali both loyal and survived ME2
-Reprogrammed the Geth (it's confirmed though you can do it if you destroy them too) in ME2
-High Paragon level
-Tali can't be Exiled in ME2 (Edit: It has been confirmed it is still possible to do it if she was exiled, just takes a lot more paragon/renegade)
-Tali and Legion have to get along in ME2 (in the scene where Tali is about to kill legion, you have to convince her that the war between them is pointless)
-Save Admiral Koris
-Destroy the Geth Fighter base
-Then attack reaper base
(In that order)
Option will come up while Legion is uploading to other geth.
Legion dies because of this.
