Have you got magazine ads? I'm using these vintage ads and recycled file folders to make neutral journaling cards. I'll use these to stuff in pockets and tucks in my upcoming junk journals.

Thanks Dawn! I wouldn’t say I have great thrift stores around me, but now and then I can find what I’m looking for. The antique stores are a little better, but the dealers don’t seem to collect paper, haha. Mostly furniture and hard knickknacks…BTW, ten more days until Valentines!
Thank you, Kathleen. You do awesome tutorials! I love these in the look of them and the fact that you’re using pieces that might otherwise be discarded. It also gives us another way of using digitals that include vintage advertising if we don’t have much access to vintage magazines. 😀💞

Thank you, I recently discovered you can mix gesso and modeling paste together to paint over a substrate, after it dries you can paint with watercolor on it, say its a piece of wood etc. You would use it on your cards and then paint with watercolor etc...my mind is wheeling lol
That's a bit different, more of a mixed media type thing. The last journal card you showed with the pink color on it, is very pretty. I think I like the ones with color a bit more. Also that mag you showed, 1975, year of my son's birth, lol... I just got some mags at an estate sale recently, so listings for ads coming to my shop.
