in case you don't know, if your scv are on auto repair, you can A move toward a location and they will repair everything on their path. it can save you a couple click
So, could you right click auto-repair, then a-move to the far side of a group of injured mech units, then shift-left-click back to minerals so that they resume mining when everyone is green?
I'm with you on this one. It bothers me every time he repairs so poorly. He flies his stuff over the top of buildings and then complains that auto repair doesn't work well, but it really works much better than specifically queuing repairs.
Honestly it’s nice to see you struggle with these challenges for once! Seeing you excel all the time is great, but I learn a lot from how you approach losing too
In regards to lifting the CC: It goes up and down in 2 seconds. During that time SCVs continue the mining process. By the time the CC lands all workers are carrying payload and you return them all to mining by boxing them and pressing shift+c. Having full saturation you have 16 SCVs not mining for less than 2 seconds (some of them continue the process). Each SCV brings in 50 resources per minute. So 1/30 of 800 means you loose only 27 minerals. For gas it is much less. So don't worry about it if it is only one. If it is 3 and it takes many more seconds then you get, lets say, 162 less resources in total. (2+4+6 seconds aggregates to 162). 3 marines.
Yeah, no. Even if you only lift 1 CC, you will absolutely not land it and get them back to mining in 2 seconds. Edit: I looked back at that spot; it takes 4 seconds with just 1 CC, and with his camera already centered on the problem and reacting instantly.
Unless you have a fourth finished and all SCVs head there to return the minerals/gas. Then you start chasing them on the map to get them to the correct CC. Not fun.
21:50 because you're floating so much minerals, i love the idea of turret outposts near his base or in the middle of the map so the ravens have a safe spot to go to.
first not being able to fungal because he boxed a queen in the ling infestor series and now not burrowing a wm because he boxed an scv...when marc figures out you can press tab to cycle through selected units the ladder is in trouble
Haven't found the answer after watching all these raven videos. Why drop the autoturrets behind mineral lines? Instead of right between the cc and the mineral patches? I'm guessing a worker pull surround will kill the turrets easily?
You can't drop them on top of workers, so there's not a lot of space and it wastes time looking for an opening that you could spend dropping more turrets. The range on them isn't that small.
love how you started to split your ravens into smaller groups, it seems very difficult for your opponents to deal with. a group of just 5-10 ravens looks devastating as long as they only face minor opposition. and if you attack them at two or three different locations, what are they even supposed to do against it? also you seem to thrive in the chaos as usual =D
I have a question. Are you allowed to make up to 5 marines and a reaper at any time or just once per game. I only ask because you lost 2 at 11:11 but then you have 4 more at 12:17
widow mines are very good against terran late in the game after you kill the starting ravens. very cost effective if u split them... drilling claws is great
That second game was beautiful! When ravens split and started to drop cannons everywhere, I could just imagine how annoying that would be on the receiving end, so I can see why it went the way it did, and I'm glad you didn't cut out the end
in the 2nd game where Uthermal accidentally lifts his CC (09:09 - 09:11) how does he make the SCV:s return to their designated task so fast after he landed the CC again?
I really have not been enjoying Raven/WM and Ling/Infestor series. It seems that if the other player does the right strat then you can't win no matter how you play. No Warp Gate is great and loving that series. Not sure how many people think like me though, I do want to mention that you have made SC2 fun again, so thank you so much for the great content.
Why don't you just put the lift building hot key on a key that is so far away from the cluster of most used hot keys that the chance of accidentally lifting your command center becomes almost zero? Not done with the episode and don't know if it happens here, but you were ranting about it again.. :)
This might be off-brand for you, but what about a "BM to GM Challenge"? Play random and lie about your race; spam chat; use offensive strats; never type glhf or gg; etc. Could be hilarious, and certainly salty!
Off brand is putting it lightly. Marc would never do something like that. Each to their own I guess but I don't see how being a dick to people is suppose to be fun.
