You have to sign disclosure to abide by. He is going to go to prison for a long time. To answer everyone’s damn question. Roughly 90% of the Air Forces jobs require you to be able to obtain a secret clearance. Meaning he went through the correct and legal channels to have access. This is usually job dependent. It’s not uncommon for young soldiers who have certain jobs to have Top Secret clearance and so forth

Yes. You can be 21 and have a TS clearance. A reservist is able to obtain. Especially one that works in intelligence, and has to have access to secured spaces. When I was in the Navy in the 80's, I was an E1 and 19 years old and had a Top Secret clearance. I worked in two- and four-star admirals offices. I had access to all kinds of classified materials. His age is irrelevant. It's all about your personal integrity, loyalty and what your country and your service to it means to you. Even at 19 I took this incredible responsibility to heart and not once ever considered doing something like this to damage my country. Traitor! 🤬
I was a signal soldier in the army for 12yrs and I remember having access to loads of sensitive information. I would never have leak out any of it because I understood the consequences and I loved America to much to bring shame to myself, my family, and my country. It basically says the document was leaked by one of the judges writing the opinion and no further action will be taken. So the only real question at that point is: was it Thomas or Alito. But they are both protected so... yeah, we'll never know

Police units have all these weapons and inappropriate vehicles and they have to justify keeping them. My local PD has an armored car that they like to drive around in every once in a while yet the biggest crimes they've netted in the last couple years is juvenile vandalism and DUIs. (they don't do squat about the kids bringing drugs up from the city) Couple years ago the department leased themselves a bunch of Harleys (after the town council said NO to buying them). We don't have any highways and you can walk barefoot from one end of the jurisdiction to the other in about twenty minutes. They paid for them by trolling the local strip mall parking lot for minor vehicle infractions. Literally hundreds of people got fines left on their windshields for totally ambiguous "vehicle safety violations" cause they knew most people can't afford to take the time off work to fight them. Cops are gonna have their toys, can't do nothing about it.

For the people wondering about how a 21 year old could have access to such information: There's a multitude of ways someone can get unrestricted access; even up to getting access to someone else's Common Access Card or plugging in your laptop. This should be more an OPSEC Awareness failure issue. There is a concrete solution to this. No need for conspiracies, folks.

Discord is not a secure application. Anything of secret or top secret clearance that appears on a net that is not SIPR or higher clearance computer is considered a leak. Kid would be arrested either way
