From my experience there are cables with something "wrong" about them and those with nothing wrong with them. Some of the former might be cables that a product comes with so changing it to any proper (cheap, but good quality) cable should give you what there is to be had. I'd be interested to be proven wrong and without double blind testing I don't know how that could be done without me personally hearing the difference. Maybe someone could record the difference somehow.

Hmmm, it reminded me of Clear more than Utopia. But I was also primed to listen for that because it uses Clear pads. If it's a baby Utopia, we need to emphasize the "baby" part. It is leagues behind.

Perfect probably isn't a thing here. I have found Lake People + Focal to be a strong combo quite often tho.
