Am I the only one who doesn't get the hype regarding Braithwaite, there is no way he is worth £30M let alone £70M. Everton are taking the piss, pure greed 🤬🤬🤬

Very promising signs but lets not get too over excited until many of these buys and sales are actually official. But it is refreshing that we are seemingly operating like a proper club again which we haven't seen in ages ; especially the football-first / football as the priority aspect. If we actually sell somewhat well , will be a clear change. I do like the look of Hancko , noticed him a bit when watching Feyenoord a number of times last season to see Wieffer play. And i do like the player - he is quite mobile , strong, physical and he is absolutely top class on the ball (especially for a CB). The LB versatility works as well for us. Branthwaite is looking to be overpriced and can not waste too much time on that deal. If we can afford JB we can afford Hancko who will be 10s of millions cheaper. HIncapie is class as well but i'd expect cost a bit more and not sure Leverkusen that overly keen to sell.

I remember in Ed Woodward's days it would be one at a time and by the time we reach the Transfer Deadline we would only have done half the business. We then press the panic button and ended up buy crap that no body wanted.

I told people INEOS are a step up. The Glazers know nothing about running a club. They're selfish & their decision making is grade zero. Trust me I'm being generous grading them zero. Another 9 on top of Zirkzee could be a bit unnecessary , even City with their insane depth I believe mainly have just two striker options. Its not like the days when clubs played 2 up front where you need 3 or 4 striking options. Plus Wheatley is another option to potentially get more minutes this season if not loaned out. Another 9 could jeopardize Zirkzee deal as well. Convincing him to sign on and compete with Rasmus is one thing but if we bring in a more established 9 on top of that , JZ surely wouldn't be so keen on that with other clubs interested in him.

Ferdi is also sometimes used as a RB. So he seems really versataile, but maybe not an absolute monster defensively. But if we sell AWB and get Ferdi, and another left footed CB/FB hybrid, we could have some decent cover for the whole backline without having to actually buy a RB. Especially if Malacia is actually expected to return to fitness this summer. So that money for selling AWB could go towards getting another CM/DM possibly, or maybe another forward player if Toney is gettable and Zirkzee maybe used on the LW, with Garnacho and Amad RW.

The fact that we already made at least 2 quick bids for JB has made Everton more bold to hold their ground, sensing that United want JB more than they (Everton) needed the money.

It seems like Ferdi is a right footed left back for Fenerbahce. He was apparently part of the Turkish setup in the qualifiers to the Euros. But got dropped for the tournament. Maybe because he had an injury in april. He seems have been used both as a left wing back and fullback. So probably very attack minded.

If your side picks up Ugarte, that's really good for your prospects next season. He's quality.

No deal is done yet but the most difficult part of most of the deals are done. Some players we are in for are in euros and copa, therefore delay is normal. Glazers alone by now would be struggling with one deal only while Ineos is doing more than one at the same time

Is Hancko really all that similar to Branthwaite? I haven't seen him play at all I think. But his profile on fbref is pretty much the mirror image of that of Branthwaite.

Are there any tangiable rumors about Eriksen and Casemiro being sold? I think we need those two off the books if we are to sign another CM. If we could get Fofana from Monaco for around the same money we would get for selling those two we would have a really balanced and solid midfield. Maybe with some room for Dan Gore as a rotational option.
