Hello Friends, I collected some more 90s titles over the last couple of months. Including some original pressings, audiophile reissues and grails! Feel free to like, comment and subscribe!
Another great video Armien. I have been watching many of your old videos and am amazed by your collection and purchasing power!!! You must have thousands by now! My collection, which is mostly jazz, is much smaller in number but I love every single one. Very soon I will be posting my very first video, Hope to get to it soon. I look forward to sharing some interesting vinyl titles (and memorabilia) to jazz lovers worldwide. In the meantime, I shall continue to marvel at the passion and interests of the vinyl community from all over. Keep it up.
I have around 2000 records in the collection at the moment but size doesn't matter. I would love to see your first video. Thanks for watching my friend :) All the best! Greetings from Germany Armien
hey armien wonderful collection. i have been a mariah carey fan since her debut in 1990. wow 25 years. love all the different vinyl u got. awesome mike
great 90s titles, nice pickups. cool to see this much in one bunch. i have maybe a handfull records from this period, so... big holes in my collection to fill. i also pumped that rage and bizkit albums hard back in the day! also deftones (white pony!!) and tool. have a good one!
I am still hoping that Tool will reissue their catalogue. Limb Bizkit is still a favorite of mine. Fred Durst was the man back in the days. Loved his style. I just ordered Around The Fur by the Deftones. Thanks for watching my friend :) Armien
Hey Armien! I had the opportunity to go to Germany over the summer and LOVED it. Such a beautiful country. I have been studying German in school for a while now and it was a great experience getting to use a language that I love in everyday conversation. Living in America, you don't hear many people speaking German on a daily basis :( While I was in Germany I picked up some great vinyl! Its a great way to remember my time in Germany and further my German skills at the same time! Anyway, great video (as always) and wonderful pickups!
I love your videos, my friend. You speak with a passion that's very relaxing to listen to. If you are not already, I suggest becoming member of the Steve Hoffman forum. Lots of fun discussions, and a great go-to when finding out quality of pressings before purchasing. Greetings from America~Vic
Thanks for the nice comment my friend! I know the Steve Hoffman forum and I like to read some threads from time to time. Maybe I should create an account. A lot of nice people there. Thanks again :) Greetings from Germany Armien
HI glad to have you back Brother Armien! :-D I've been checking every 2-3days for your latest vid because didn't see yourself last week... I thought I'm missing something... Anyway good to see you again indulging us with your collection again! Hahaha... you're looking good and I feel relieved and happy about that! Best regards, brother ian here.
Hello my friend, the christmas time is really busy here in Germany. I am working a lot at the moment but fortunately I found some time for vinyl this weekend :) Thanks for watching, Ian! Always good to hear from you. Armien
Wow we sure have similar taste in music. I'm heavy into the 90s right now as well. That limp bizkit significant other sounds great on vinyl I have the cd but was blown away by the sound on vinyl. Love the breeders, sound garden. American football? I love 90's emo and screamo. Very unique sound. Saetia and Honeywell are some interesting bands to look into. Still waiting to see some boards of canada in you collection. Very good video
man that sounds awesome! I am just getting deeper into 90s emo. there is a lot to discover but unfortunately some of the records I want are really expensive. I love boards of canada but never bought any album on vinyl so far. I should order one soon :) Thanks for watching :) Armien
What a stack of memories love all of those. Early sound garden is just amazing. Temple of the dog is a great band to get they have studio and live album that's amazing featuring Chris Cornell.
I love the 90s! So many great bands came up. Specially the early Seattle stuff. I still need to get the famous Temple Of The Dog album. Thanks again! Armien
That's one heck of a 90's collection (or part of it), Armien! Gotta be worth some serious money. Unfortunately this video had too many records to be commented but if I would like to have one of those 90's records to myself it would be the one by The Breeders. Wunderbar und long live the 90's, Jarkko / MyVinylBar
Hello Jarkko, the Breeders are a fantastic band indeed! By the way: I just continued watching the X-Files and had to think of you. Hope you are doing fine! Auf Wiedersehen! Armien
I've been watching The X-Files too. I have already watched easons 1 & 2. Heck of a "project" to watch the whole box set through !!! Auf wiedersehen für dich auch!
Woha this is a great collection man!! Back to my childhood memories of the greatest 90's. You should get ones of Garbage band their music was an important part of this decade and it's great
The 90s are definitely a special decade! After getting a lot of the famous big classics I am going deeper into indie bands and music. I just bought Slint - Spiderland some days ago. I knew that it was a good album but it literally blew me away. Thanks for watching and commenting :) Armien
+AudiophileLaws Nice buy man! I bought the re - issue (complete with fantastic DVD) last year and it's inspiring and hypnotic. Amazing album. Ever heard of Don Caballero? Another Touch And Go band, they released some awesome, complex and incentive albums in the 90s and 2000s. I have all their albums on CD, and three on vinyl. :)
yes, I couldn't agree more on what you said about Slint. I don't know Don Caballero yet but I'll check them out. Another one of my Indie favorites is American Football. Could you suggest some other albums or artists that are similar and have this slight emo touch?
+AudiophileLaws DEFINITELY check out Don Caballero. You'll be fascinated, I promise. Extremely complex instrumental rock. I love American Football :) Check out: Q And Not U, Moss Icon, The Van Pelt, Native Nod, and Seam. I know a lot about the decade and the music.
Alright.....my friend scores again. Especially the Smashing Pumpkins. I liked the SM's CD that was camping out near your computer. Outstanding collecting!! You really know your stuff. Take care my friend and continue to reach for the stars. Very proud of you and have a blessed week. See you soon my friend!!
Great video Armien! Always look forward to watching and this time as a bonus, a 90s one! Trying very hard to build my own 90s collection at a reasonable price! Great work and looking forward to your next video!
Excellent 90's Armien I envy that Red Hot Chili Peppers Blood Sugar Magic I have the reissue with sticker may Contains I was tricked with that one they said it was original bought it and realized it was a reissue through discogs pissed but sounds fine. Love that 90's Nirvana Unplugged I remember find a dead mint original white vinyl USA press for $30 a couple a year's ago sounds killer. The other day I finally found and replaced my Soundgarden SuperUnknown original on vinyl price was right orange vinyl I lost my other one in a fire in 2002 near thanksgiving so happy to replace I bought the reissue sold it sounded awful very compressed and digital. I agree with you on Madonna Music I have an original Music from Germany sounds crackly the pressings of that album are bad my buddy has the same one too same thing but surprising Ray of Light original is quiet as hell. Cool Rage against Machines I do have those two my Evil Empire is in the shrink great video As always Armien
Man so cool to hear that you got an original white US copy of the unplugged album for 30 bucks. Thats a steal more or less! Congrats! Thanks for watching my friend! Always good to hear from you, Lovell! Armien
..some great vinyl for sure, Armien! ...(thanks for sharing).. very stateside heavy though ... maybe you could keep Fatboy Slim company (in your silver DJ box) with some other UK 90s classics like My Bloody Valentine, Teenage Fanclub, Boo Radleys, Auteurs ..etc ..... btw, The Breeders aren't from the UK as you stated.. Keep up the great work ... all the best from the UK!..
Stellar stuff man!! Hey... If you don't have Hayden "Everything I Long For" you should get it. My favourite Hayden album from 1996 (his debut) - I think you will really enjoy it!! He's a Canadian boy and not widely known outside of Canada/USA, sadly.... Alternative, indie, acoustic style rock...right up your alley!!
I don't know the album but I just started playing it in the background digitally. Sounds really good so far and it's exactly what I like. Unfortunately it seems to be very rare on vinyl and there is no reissue. Thanks for the recommendation! Armien
You have such a great collection! I nostalgia listened to a vinyl rip of that Limp Bizkit record and I was very impressed with the sound quality. What are your thoughts on the sound of it? It really destroys the CD IMO but I've never heard it on my vinyl rig.
C'mon Amien! You know the Breeders are a U.S. band! lol. Awesome stack of vinyl there, sir. I was 16 in '92 so all these albums are full of nostalgia for me. Louder Than Love, Angel Dust, Trompe Le Monde and fIREHOSE. IDK if their Live Totem Pole EP was released on vinyl but if so it's a grail for me. Nice update as usual, sir... -CHoAD-
Man, you are absolutely right of course! I always thought that they were a UK band since the record is on 4AD. Of course they are from the US. Finally someone that knows Firehose! Thanks for tuning in buddy! Armien
hi armien great collection of 90s albums. though I usually prefer stuff from 50s and 60s its interesting to see just how many bands were around and popular or not in the 90s decade. rob
The 90s were the time I grew up in so I always will have a special connection to that decade. I also love all kind of music from the 50s 60s 70s and 80s. Only with some "modern music" I have some problems. Thanks for watching, Rob! All the best! Armien
Hi Armien, god, i want that Fatboy Slim-album! I have only the single "Going out of my mind" from this record. I have been a huge Fatboy Slim fan since almost beginning! It's so unpredictable and funny music.
Hi Jörgen, Fatboy Slim is a great artist indeed! I love all his early stuff. I also loved to watch his Concert Brighton DVD. What a huge crowd.... Thanks for watching my friend! Armien
some excellent music you have , and marih carey well hot babe .... and she does sing a few good tunes ... but also a lot im not familiar with .. but great video cheers from uk
Some great 90's classics, Cannonball off the Breeders album was all over the radio here at the time. Goo, such an iconic cover, homaged many times since. The Wonder Years, who didn't have a crush on Winnie at the time? Cheers!
Hello Doug, Goo is definitely one of my all time favorites from the 90s. Oh yes.... Winnie.... hahaha goooood old days. I really loved when she appeared on How I Met Your Mother some years ago. Thanks for tuning in my friend! Armien
It's funny, in the 90s I was buying records because they were cheap and a lot of times you could get releases early. I never imagined those records would become so vauluable. And the quality of vinyl from the 90s wasn't really the best even. Just something for some of you kids to think about.
It took me a very long time to finally get it. Such an essential Trip Hop album. I want to discover more music from this label. Thanks for watching, Derick! Always good to hear from you :) Armien
Another great collection. I'm curious: Will you be doing any Christmas album searches/reviews? I'm a big fan of seasonal selections....there is a lot of good stuff out there (and some awful ones too!). Happy Holidays, Armien!!
Hello Brian, that's a good question! I always wanted to do a video about records that I listen to in the christmas time. It would be a lot of jazz and classical. Seasonal selections can be very interesting. Normally I am listening to a lot of soul in the summertime while the autumn is more about folk influenced music. What about you? Thanks for tuning in :) Armien
Now that I think about it, I suppose in the summer I do listen to more Soul and R & B. I think part of the reason is that my girlfriend and I will spend a lot of time on our back deck and that music seems to go with the situation (the food, wine, etc) . Over the past 2 years I've been focusing on Jazz more. There is so much to listen to and learn! All the best for 2016, Brian
hi Armien very nice collection of the 90 s . just for curiosity , did you have or just heard the new roger waters the wall live 3 lp . if so how it sounds on your system .just asked you to see if its from the recording , as on mine it didnt sound that much good , not to mean bad . regards.
To be honest I didn't listen to it yet. I am not the biggest fan of all kind of post Pink Floyd albums. Soundwise Amused To Death must be an audiophile highlight. Thanks for watching :) Armien
I have a recommendation for you if you don't have it already....music on vinyl pressed a copy of the band live their album throwing copper. Its probably one of the most memorable albums for me from the 90's decade and every song is amazing it's a monster album for your collection.
Man it's funny that you mention it since I was just listening to it a few days ago digitally. I am still thinking about buying the music on vinyl copy. It's a great album indeed and would fit perfectly to my 90s collection Thanks for the recommendation! Armien
Hello Armien, have you ever heard The Posies' album Frosting on the Beater? It's one of my most favorite 90s releases - for me it just oozes 90s sound. The full album is not on RU-vid as far as I know, but if you haven't heard it, look up the single "Dream All Day," "Solar Sister," or "Love Letter Boxes."
Brother that is awesome. What a great haul, you rock. Always love your videos my friend. Hey i wanna send you something message me when you have a chance my brother.
There's some REALLY cool stuff in there. Pixies, Orbital, Nirvana... heck, even Chris Isaak isn't half bad. The 90's was a really good decade for music, certainly better than the majority of crap that's released now.
You're lucky to live in Europe where Vinyl didn't really fade away in the 90s like it did in the states. 90s Albums on Vinyl are a bitch to find at decent prices over here as any 90s kid can attest to. Nine Inch Nails the Fragile and Mariyln Manson's Mechanical Animals are grails of mine.
I haven't checked them out yet since I am not the biggest Peter Gabriel fan but from what I've heard they must be awesome. There were also some classic records pressings available some time ago. Normally everything that is done by Analogue Productions is highest quality stuff. Thanks for watching :) Armien

hey armien, mein dreher ist vorhin abgeschmiert, da ich kein allzuhohes budget habe, könntest du mir evtl etwas gebrauchtes unter 100€ empfehlen, habe an einen dual 504 gedacht lg Konrad
+KONRAD Hi!
+gpuppy1234 oh right, this is not his entire 90's collection then? Yeah I have the originals too + Ten.. The ten re- issue sucked, so compressed, as was Vs's on MOV.. Originals are the way to go folks!!
there are some more 90s video on the channel! I was so happy when I finally bought an original copy of ten in mint condition but it was one of the more expensive items unfortunately. Thanks for watching :) Armien
originals are my "go to" I tend to stay away from reissues. I will pass on a reissue with hopes of find the original some time down the road. Some great finds here. Be well, Mike
Great collection! I have the limited edition double vinyl pack of Angel Dust: www.discogs.com/Faith-No-More-Angel-Dust/release/420951 Oh and that Wonder Years record :) , great stuff, my favorite tv-show ever.
It’s not cheesy to listen to Mariah Carey. I listen to hardcore metal mostly. Along with many many other genres. But occasionally I’ll blast Mariah and sing it loud. Lol
Hey, nice videos greetings from France from another record collector, you should check on Discogs to find good stuffs, I'm on this site everyday ! cheers : )
