Hi Armien, good to see you again and your 90s videos! It was fun to see that Talk Talk album because it is on my wish list to complete my Talk Talk-collection, so it was great to see how it looks like. ;) How i have missed a Right Said Fred t-shirt in all these years, not! :) Take care!
Great to have you back dude! Notice your Neu! collection in the back there. Just saw Michael Rother the other week in Glasgow. Amazing. Greetings from Scotland!
Hahaha YES YOU ARE BACK ON TRACK BROTHER ARMIEN!!!!! :-D You can't believe my gladness to see you back with us :-D.... BEST BEST REGARDS!!! You are so full of laughter from start to finish... yes... happiness! See you brother again very soon from now on okay! Have a good Sunday, ian :-)
Hey, he's back ;) Love the records in the back of course. Not so much into the 90's stuff though, except Hip Hop :D But great to see you back. Cheers, Diana
Armien
Welcome back, Armien :) great albums, of the ones I know :) Everything But The Girl, Moby, Placebo, Tortoise.... and hahah on the Fresh Prince 12". I, too, loved that show growing up. just recently, about a month or two ago, I read an article where Will Smith did the theme song on various talk shows randomly, hahah... then I checked out old clips of Fresh Prince :)
Hi Amber, thanks for watching and commenting! I didn't watch an episode of the fresh prince in years. Maybe it's time again. I was also thinking about if Will Smith will ever make a comeback as musician. All the best! Armien
I'm too sexy for this video....ha! Nice to see you Armien! I thought of you earlier this year when I landed a sealed original pressing of the debut by Bush, Sixteen Stone. Not a fan of the band but as you said, 90's vinyl is so tricky to find! Thankfully many of the reissues have saved many of us from spending hundreds of dollars (for example, Achtung Baby) but there's still many that are in bad need of a reissue! Your 90's madness continues, it all comes back to vinyl as you said and it's good to see you back doin' what you do! - Lj
Welcome back Armien!! Ich hab die Into The Great Wide Open ja auch 2x haha. Rock on -Ben
Armien
Armien luv that Neu, Kraftwerk back drop. those are some magnificent titles love the Sonic Youth albums you found. I'm still missing the RHCP One Hot Minute and Everything but the Girl your shops in Germany have some great titles luv to shop there one day. can't wait til you do the year 1991 RU-vid video have a great week Armien. lovellandrew
Haha Right Said Fred, pretty funny.......but actually joking aside there are a couple of really good tracks on 'Up' - Swan for example has a really great dance groove/beat to it. Well I think so anyway Haha Nice to see you back :)
Hi, Thanks, you have some great stuff - I have most of Sonic Youth's original albums. I recommended Murray Street which is superb. Also give The Beta Band a listen, especially the 3 EP's their first release. Keep up the good work, superb posting!
Nice! I am just now uploading a video and I randomly asked where you are and here you are. Weird timing! Ive been looking for Travis for a while but it has always been soooooo expensive. Nice find. Those Melvins reissues were done wonderfully. Great Ben Harper album. Massive 90's haul indeed. Great seeing you back, Armien. Be good! -Stavros
That's so cool to hear, Stavros! Good luck on finding the Travis albums. I would also love to get the debut. I could also imagine that they will reissue them at some point. All the best!
So glad that you're back, my friend. There's some great additions to your collection, I especially liked the Jimmy Eat World and the Talk Talk records, oh, and the Tortoise one, I'm really into that kind of post-rock.
Thanks for watching, Luke! I am really getting into post rock, math rock, 90s emo and all that kind of stuff at the moment and just ordered some more stuff.
Post-rock, math rock and 90s emo happen to be my three favourite musical genres! I can't wait to see what else you've ordered, hopefully there's a video on it ;)
Armien! Du bist also im Retro-Gaming-Fieber?
Armien
i see that raveline sticker on the dj flightcase - actually i was working for them for a bunch of years throughout the early 2000s, mostly invlvd in doing record reviews, and also been writing for FAZE magazine for a while which was set up by former raveline editors later on. talking EBTG - there are some great, and official, drum'n'bass remixes for these tunes by omni trio, springheel jack and others which i've got sitting in my collection as 2x12" copy... highly recommended. US3 is defo an album i wouldn't pass up if i came across a decently priced copy. FSOL is on my wantlist for sure - classic, not only for 'papua new guinea'.
Amazing selection! Where do you get your resealable sleeves from? I'm on the look out for some quality mylar Japanese style outer sleeves with the resealable flap for my collection.
Walking Wounded, wounded should be pronounced like woon-ded, as in being injured. Hell of a collection as always, you have more 90’s stuff then anyone else i’ve seen. Very impressive Quality collection considering you’ve only been collecting less than 10 years.
I'm just about caught up with PS4 games and I have a Raspberry pi 3 to emulate almost everything. I can start buying Vinyl again too. Last album I got was Johnny Cash's American VI and a 7 inch of Kung Fu Fighting. 90s Vinyl is A LOT easier to get in Europe than it is over here. Vinyl never went away over there, but over here it's only just now in the last few years making a comeback. Moby's Play is a must! Glad it got a reissue as I had heard it wouldn't be. FIngers crossed for Oasis' Be here now getting a reissue next year.
I'd be fine with Standing on the shoulders of Giants or Heathen Chemistry too. But Be Here now is one of those sentimental albums. And you're quite welcome
*dies* Between that, Pink Floyd's animals getting a reissue... Schoolboy Q's new Album getting a Vinyl Release. My turntable will be quite busy, while my wallet will be quite empty.
Great records man! Could u tell me what is the song playing at about 2:00 in the video (when u open the case).I heard that song before and liked it very much. Thanks
do you have Hole's "Nobody's Daughter" record? It was released about 8 years ago, its there comeback album and one of there best. I love all there 90s stuff, her solo project was ok but it flopped in sales. She then reunited with her band and released nobodys daughter album.
Oh yes! I heard a lot about it. It's definitely on my list but maybe it's a bit too complex for beginners like me. Never the less! I'll keep it in mind. Thanks for the recommendation.
I am not sure yet. The thing is that I am not a big expert at all when it comes to gaming or comics. But if I do any video it would be on this channel. Thanks for tuning in!
Hi Armien, toll, dass du wieder Videos machst. Mal wieder tolle Platten!
Well.... I don't know if this is a reason to start collecting 90s stuff. It's about the music not the rarity or value. Every decade had it's moments. I grew up on the 90s stuff. I wish I would be born 10 years earlier so it would be more 80s stuff. This would be a lot cheaper :)
