Massive ABANDONED 1850s mansion left completely forgotten 

I like when you all find a room with Old Wallpaper in it too!!! And that Sink, it was probably a Dark Room. I took Photography in College, and they had Sinks in their Dark Rooms. Interesting Find!!! Thanks Guys!!!!

That looks like a darkroom. Back in the day when we used film you could develop your film-a lot more creative license that way. Very nice set up!

That secret room in the attic might have been an emergency room for sick or injured animals. the long sink is for large animals it’s a drain sink the small deep sink is for small animals.

A dark room you would want somewhere like that so it keeps dark and out of the way from the rest of the house . If the pictures at a certain time are exposed to light they are ruined . The sinks are in the process of developing the pictures . I have known people that developed picture in there home and it was not to do anything illegal. People do it as a hobby .

on the secret room upstairs...my first guess was developing pictures.........2nd guess. it looked like an autopsy table......long bench with water for the body and a sink to wash up afterwards

Those are the tables with a drain that are in morgues for autopsies. Was there a serial killer living there?
