The transitions from song to song made it for me, it's like they never stop.

As a bass player I love how prominent the bass is in the mix. Its never overshadowed you can hear it loud and clear on every track I love it

Honestly their whole discography is amazing. But if I had to pick a best album probably Constellations

Jake did the cleans for Ancestry live and he honestly nailed it. Didn't expect that at all.

Wow, Jason Richardson really referenced Careless Whisper and Avenged Sevenfold in the same solo. This is the cutting edge of modern solos.

It speaks to how good this band is that they have 10 albums and every one of them is somebody's favorite. FIFAP is #1 for me but this album gets better with every listen

I really enjoyed the progressive elements and the flow of the album, like almost 1 big song that goes from one to another, this is probably not going to be their most popular album but sounds the most mature to me and musically interesting while still keeping the grooves and metalcore elements that their so good at! Really really enjoyed this one, feels very epic altogether

Leveler is number one for me, Provision has always been my favorite song. Their entire discography is just legendary. Honestly I didn’t think I would love this album, I was afraid it was going to be more of the same, I didn’t take much to Guardians, loved Phantom Anthem. I applaud their consistency but I’ve been wanting less more of the same. I can say I’m in love with Death Below. I always love the journey of listening to an album beginning to end, and this one hits for me something special more than what they have done in a long long time. I really thought I wouldn’t like this one and it just blew me away. The opening tracks are amazing, and then once you hit Backfire, every song a banger. Incredible album.

I’ve always felt like Messengers was their best overall album imo. I love the uniqueness in each song in that album. Messengers and Guardians will always be my favs.

Great album 🤘 This proves you can experiment and try new things without abandoning your roots and going soft. These guys are true masters of their craft. Few bands can measure up to this level of talent.

with how many banger albums we've had in just the first quarter of this year already, hopefully the rest of 2023 can keep up, but with bands like Sleep Token and VOM still yet to release music, i'm feeling pretty good about it

Phantom anthem and FIFAP. I like the interludes and transitions between most of the songs keeps a steady flow. Also really liked premonition even though most wouldn’t consider it a song

I agree with Found in Faraway Places as my favorite album. Constellations is my second and this album is quickly becoming my 3rd. 2nd half of album crushes!! The transitions are perfect, the guests are well thought out and my favorite single is even better now as a closer. This album is well produced, planned and executed!

Oh man the fav album question is a tough one. I'm gonna go with Guardians, because it's where i started, but whole of their discog is a banger. It's realy hard to express the specialty of ABR so i'm just gonna say i love them

Honestly I'm very new to ABR and feel that the riffs, choruses, and production quality of this album may make it my favorite. I love Constellations too, but something about this album really made it click for me and I loved every track!

i know not everyone likes ABR but imo they are one of the top core bands and i love that havnt really changed a whole lot just simply perfected their style and sound makes it easy to know what your gonna get when they drop a new song

All time favorite will probably always be Constellations, because I have a huge bias towards concept albums. It's not the best example, but it was one of the first that I discovered and stuck with me. Edit: ABR has mastered the ability to never run out of ideas, I swear. Every other band in the scene has gone through multiple significant changes in sound throughout their career, and most of them haven't been around even a fraction of the time. ABR is the prime example of sticking to your roots. They do experiment, but so well that it feels like it's already something in their arsenal. It has never been a bad time to be an ABR fan and they deserve the world for that!

Constellation and Leveler will always be my favourite albums by ABR.

I’ve gotta say, ABR really outdid their selves. This album from start to finish is just gold. Every fill, every riff, every vocal is just perfectly timed in a way to catch all emotion. It’s incredible.

I have deep personal experiences with mostly all of their albums, and my music preferences are present in all of their albums somehow. I love the more straight in your face ABR, but I love the melodic/atmospheric and kinda proggy ABR more. This album is so good, I almost put it as a Tie with Constellations as #1 but I'll give it a lil more time to sink in before, but its easily Top 3 ABR album for me, I just fcking love that sound. And the transitions... holy fck dude. I had some expectations but they destroyed em. 1. Constellations 2. Leveler - Death Below (Tie) 3. Messengers 4. Phantom Anthem 5. Guardians 6. R&R 7. Thrill Seekers 8. FIFAP (sorry lol, I don't dislike it, but personally its the weaker one and which i don't reaslly resonate at all with, althought I love Martyr)
