Now it has been 5 years. You'd think that with the Challenger 3 and a bunch of other new tanks coming out and the war in Ukraine giving military channels a huge boost, it would spur Dave back into making videos. So I think that doesn't bode well. I think if he could make videos, he probably would.
In what way has their protection been upgraded? They look and sound exactly like the ones I played with back in the 80's. I see no add on armour, no ERA, all I see are the exact same vehicles from 30 years ago and they hadn't ever changed according to the older guys who played with them decades before even I did, that places them in front line service in the early 70's and they still look the same..
they have binned the old steering system, those Bloody drums brakes! and all 3 systems are split now, and they did do some about the k60 power pack, was called the (bulldog) upgrade, meant to extend there service life to 2030 or something like that. The MK1's have been in service since the 60's now.
@@flyer_452official9 they are apparantly getting rid of the Challenger 2 for... some reason that no one can seem to explain logically besides they want to lower the defense budget, you know, British things.
I suppose that in the current British Army, a mixed vehicle company is considered massive. In the US Army, this is called Tuesday morning before breakfast.
