Preparing to harvest ~4,500 acres of oats on the Western Australia 16x map with AutoDrive and CoursePlay. Watch as we set up the automation for 3 harvesting team consisting of 4 combines, 4 tractors/auger wagons, and 2 semis each. That's a total of 30 workers we'll be configuring! You'll get to experience how much goes into automating a harvest of this size on a gigantic map!

A lot of work to get all the CP & AD setup. I've started back at the begging of your play through of WA 16X and enjoying watching all your hard work, while playing that map. I could run all those workers, so I'm cheating a little and using those new combines with a 1.5million capacity and running 4 in the field at normal harvest speed and not worry about all the Augar wagons. Just empty the Harvesters into Trucks when finished the field. I like you (I Suspect) like almost playing FS more as a Farm Manager game and get into the logistics of everything. Keep up the great work. 👏👏

Yeah, I go back and forth from the large, automated game saves to the smaller, more intimate ones where I use a lot of Guidance Steering and do most things myself. I’m prep’ing my next RU-vid series right now…a “historical fiction” game based on my family’s history set on The Holler. That one is a standard sized map and uses mostly older equipment like I grew up using and seeing around on other farms.

Wow! Excited to continue watching this series! Ya know if you ever wanted to use more than 5 combines make a course with double (or triple) the width of your current header! Remember to set your positive and negative offset half of that of your header width for each combine. For running triple wide you can set one combine to positive (width of header) the middle one with 0 and the other as positive (width of header) 👍🏻 This allows you to run 10 to 15 combines on one field!

Also note that you’ll need to change one of the courseplay XMLs to allow for a wider working width if your using headers 45ft or larger

Oooh..that is an interesting idea. Might have to do that if I ever take on that 64x map that's floating around out there. For now though I'm cycled back to a small operation with my newest series. Thanks for the info and for stopping by the channel!

@@techhermitd yep! I used 15 STS70s with 35ft cereal headers (bc I didn’t know about modifying the max width at the time) on a 2000 acre field and with 10 grain carts I got it done in around 8 hours! Also thanks for reading and replying to my comment!

@@techhermitd also recently I found a map larger than that 64x west end map! It’s called PMC Korkscrew 40km. There’s also a King Korn 45KM but unfortunately with just the massive size the map is. The crop density is a bit off so it looks a little less realistic. The fields are VERY large and it’s also a very blank ish map with multiple large farm building areas and massive 300/1500 acre fields (I plow most of mine together to make 4000+ acre fields) so yeah it’s quite the beast of a map for sure since the 40km map is 1600 square kilometers!

Great video. Thanks for the tip about the snail wagon, you can make a circuit for it. I'll give it a try myself. But I'm missing another green team here, Team Fendt.

I’m not sure CoursePlay could have handled one more complete team honestly. Hoping that the new engine for FS25 makes this a LOT better!

omg love it i would love a copy of your map and setup also have you looked into follow me mod you can set the first machine to go to a point with auto drive then set the rest to just follow, and would so love to play this map lol.

Apologies for the late reply. We've been traveling or preparing to travel for the last couple of weeks. I've not looked at Follow Me at all. AutoDrive and CoursePlay have done what I needed thus far so I haven't had a reason to look at Follow Me.
