Using a Skill CD and Duration reactor. 29k DEF and 7.7k HP (Recommended) 68/77 + HP - 7.8s CD and 8.1s duration. Using Skill CD and Non-Attri reactor. 44k DEF and 15.4k HP (Not recommended) Full DPS - 7.8s CD and 8.3s duration. Using Skill CD and Non-Attri reactor. 15.8k DEF and 7k HP. The DEF and HP might vary based on your external components, and if you upgraded the flex slot which I didn't. I found the first build to deal less DMG and have less tankiness, which is why I recommended the 2nd build shown in the video. If your duration is lower than expected, for example 7.8s duration, try re-equipping the Annihilation set. There is a bug where it doesn't apply correctly on the tooltip when using the Preset system. Also, you should probably run Spear and Shield instead of a DEF module, for the extra 8.1% skill power. DEF seems to not scale very well, you might as well take the extra damage.
@@ElriYT for use in gley's ultimate, massacre, yes. which is pretty much the form we are in 100% during a boss fight. that's why i have a negative accuracy module in return for higher scaling on weakpoint.
@arielvargas9212 no. Massacre only gets stuff that are moddable in the weapon you're holding i.e crit crit dmg weak point etc except recoil and accuracy. The unique trait of python is unique and massacre doesn't adopt it.

Hey! I don't really use the Vestigal Organ at all, but I'd assume you want to build ATK/Fire Rate/Elemental DMG mods/Weakpoint. If I remember correctly, the Organ has low crit chance at like 1%, so when you build crit, it barely helps. so focus on the other things I mentioned!

I like it when I see a build being shown effectively on a boss other than the Devourer. Definitely gained a subscriber. Many RU-vidrs who make builds that "melt" bosses only show the build by killing the devourer, which is the easiest boss in hard mode.
Because it's an easy boss to showcase on. You don't need to see how it performs on a specific boss, you just need to see how it performs, and that boss doesn't have any shifting movement abilities.
I spent like the last 3 days farming all this and leveling her up over and over again with catalysts to do this build since i just got her and followed this and this is mad cracked LOL i love this build tbh thanks so much bro thats a like and sub from me
In case you didn't know, it seems that Ultimate Weapon abilities do not trigger with Massacre. So your choice in Toxic specifically because the Python shreds Toxic RES doesn't actually matter. You can still use the Ultimate abilities when NOT using Massacre, but testing has been done to show that the Python's ability does not work with Massacre. Which is sad.... It is still the best Ultimate Weapon to use with it's really high Fire Rate and good Weakpoint DMG, thus allowing an Ultimate Reactor, which you do want... Though it's more the reactor that is making the Python the best choice outside of the Epic's Blue Blood Bloomer and its higher base Fire Rate of 999 (can reach 1333!). Check out Saintone's video from over a week ago that goes into detail for this. As for why the Unique Ability of Ultimate Weapons doesn't work with Massacre, here's my take. YOU ARE NOT USING THE ULTIMATE WEAPON, but instead using Gley's custom pistol. Her pistol inherits the stats of the weapon she has mounted, but just the stats, not the abilities. I do however appreciate the showcase and explanation for Massive Sanguinification. More videos need to do in depth looks into how the different Transcendence Mods work as many seem to have unique affects that are not initially listed/known from the simple description they give. It would go far to help planning builds if someone would make a deep dive video into each character's Transcendence Mods and how they each affect their kits. For Reactor Substats though, you are right and wrong. You do not NEED Skill CD Reduction. - Skill Duration or Skill CD Reduction both work. - The second should hopefully be Dimension or Non-Attribute DMG I personally prefer Duration over Skill CD, since I would rather not have to activate the skill as often. A longer lasting skill can have a longer CD. Just as a short lasting skill needs a shorter CD. The important part is that they line up so that you can activate it as soon as the duration ends. With that, having the longer duration means less times needing to reactivate the skill, which results in a higher DPS (less down time).
I prefer cd> duration on reactors because you get more bang for buck out of the stats. Because gley 3 has such a short duration normally. Even with a max gold roll you would be getting maybe .1-.3 secs at best where as with cd you could be shaving a few seconds instead of fraction of seconds.
@@Zeus0808 No, Python would be, but BBB is still good. Fire Rate is only a little slower on the Python, but in exchange you get a much larger multiplier for using an Ultimate Reactor. Python will win out by quite a bit once kitted out. BBB is just easier to get and doesn't need to farm multiple parts.
Honestly very impressive build, kind of breaking the mold of simple infinite ammo launcher build. It must have taken so unbelievably long to level back to 40 over and over again though
This is awesome, I think you’ve built this optimally. I’ve been trying to add more skill power modifier over skill power but I don’t think it’s possible to do that and maintain the cooldown needed for continuous uptime for maximized lethality. The only thing I will try differently is having additional skill attack when attacking colossus instead of skill power on the reactor. This is S-Tier content, much appreciated by this Gley main
yeah, i tried messing around with dimension master, it gives a modifier to dimension skills. i do run dangerous ambush over walk a tight rope sometimes, because i feel at a certain point, i value skill power over modifier more, though i dont have any hard evidence for it.
@@Wafflicious Everything I’ve read seems to indicate you want total skill power boosts and total skill power modifiers to be as balanced as possible, although I haven’t done the math.

Hi, thanks for the build, and nice video, straight to the point and concise without fluff, got my sub and upvote. i have a question for you though : i figured that with the reactor i'm using (having Skill duration UP + Skill cooldown), i can keep my 3rd ability permanently up (7.4/7.4), without using Outstanding investment mod. In this case i'm considering freeing this spot for something else, maybe Multitalented, for like +30% damage after using 3rd ability wich is pretty huge, what do you think about it ? Is your Outstanding investment there being choosen mainly for cooldown purposes, or for the HP regen as well ? I guess this is just about using a different reactor and getting the lost damage from non-attr line with multitalented mod.
it is mainly for cooldown. I also don't think Multi-Talented is worth running over Walk a Tight Rope or Dangerous Ambush, since it only lasts for 5s. I could be wrong though, I haven't tested it extensively.

the symbol is indicating non-attribute damage, if im not mistaken. i have skill dmg numbers enabled in my settings, but weapon dmg details disabled. (doesn't show toxic dmg, instead just combines it into 1 dmg number)
How do you have most of your mods maxed and I have 85 MC and can't even get half of mines like that without overmaxing and I've used my MC device I even used the same build and my skills never last that long or come off CD that fast

might be the reactor, if modules are the same. for multitalented, its kinda interesting, atleast for farming bosses where they die very quickly. for general use, its not very good since your maximize lethality is what is proc'ing it the most, making it a 30% dmg increase for only 5s. i tried messing around with the cooldown it gives after you use massacre, since its dimension, into maximized lethality for 5s of dmg boost. its probably easier and better to just use dangerous ambush or walk a tight rope.

yes massacre scales with firearm atk. i went with python for very high fire rate, to proc the ultimate's on-hit effect more often. it can work with tamer. massacre does not proc a weapon's unique ability.
Honestly I would recommend using Iron Defense instead of an outstanding investment and Increased Def together for bossing COOP, that way survivability is higher. But it is only possible if you have a yellow sub stat roll for Skill Duration and Skill Cooldown on your Reactor which in my case I was able to recreate a 7.4s cooldown with 8.1 sec Duration skill making me able to swap out An Outstanding Investment for more survivability. I also use Walk A tightrope for more DPS on top of the fact I didn't have to use Maximize duration which caused my entire build to have a positive increase on all modules for my skill %. With this I was able to clear Hard Devourer with thundercage at 10secs.

Have you compared using Walk a Tightrope with and without? Im currently running Walk a Tightrope but I do miss the HP collector lol I guess it wont do much if it's skipped?
Walk a Tightrope is a noticable increase in DPS. If you really wanted to use both, you can socket the flex slot and fit both, but if you're like me and just wanna keep it open for flex, then I'd just use HP collector for comfort in boss play.
Can I still do good damage with my thunder cage and non annihilation mods? I need a build on gley to start beating the first hard bosses and help progress

Python toxic, for other characters. and mostly cuz im lazy to swap elements, especially since my substat on the weapon is always toxic atk. also, its still very strong. instead of DEF module, I would run Spear and Shield for extra damage, since DEF seems to not scale very well anyways. for the flex slot, either walk a tight rope or dangerous ambush for more damage, maybe even multi-talented.
excuse my ignorance but how do u get the materialized reactor to have a checkmark on the python, i have that one but without the checkmark, do u need to upgraded somewhere or just get lucky & farm it from a boss?

if you have blood and iron, that's a really good replacement. otherwise, predator instinct. and if not, then probably nothing. as long as you have infinite ammo and uptime, you can deal more than enough dps for all hardmode bosses.

yes it does, make sure to catalyze it and upgrade it fully. pick long-distance manuevering or mid-air grapple, as those two are the most popular choices for sub attack. farther grapple or versatile grappling
Thanks for the vid. Sux how they locked all but one of her transcendent mods behind hard mod bosses. And the one mod they gave us is garbage on 99% of weapons. Guess I'll get to try this eventually. No matchmade team I've been on yet has been able to even take down hard mode 2nd boss's shield yet.
Can someone please tell me why my freyna skill build is doing fuck all. I cant get my head around my crazy dmg outside in the open world and then do so little to the executioner?? Plz tell me im losing my mind
im sure there are other guides out there showcasing the launcher build. using the vestigial organ with this build wouldn't very good, and since you use your ultimate ability, your launcher becomes a pistol that shoots very slowly. you could temporarily use it during a ball mechanic, and then swap back to python or any smg you invested into. in that case, i would build into ATK, FIre Rate, and weakpoint dmg on your organ launcher. this launcher has 1% crit rate and 1.1x crit dmg multiplier base, so i wouldn't build any crit or crit dmg on it.
I was working on a Demonic Modification build, however Nexon said they are planning to remove hotswapping module builds in boss fights. I don't see how with Demonic Modification you are to get 3 Blood Orbs fast, you would need to rely on killing mobs before you can even use the module and your ultimate ability. So, because of this, I dropped it. Maybe there could be a Super Senses build with the Afterglow/Piercing Light, but at the moment it doesn't catch my interest.
Should I invest in thundercage or python first? I know python is also useful on other characters, and I don’t wanna put my eggs in one basket. Thoughts?
im not too sure what weapon is best overall for general use for other characters. since im a gley main, i went with python. i soon will be unlocking bunny, and i might still use the python over the popular thunder cage for her since i think it does more dmg while bossing.
I haven't tried it in Frostwalker, since it will be alive for very long if in it's immunity phase. However, Fortress and Obstructer, you can kill very fast with a good group. (I play in a premade) So the full DPS build actually works out pretty well since the bosses die in sub 2mins. Any longer fight I wouldn't recommend, since you would die very quick, but since Hard-Mode bosses right now die quickly if you are overgeared, it can work.
i don't know if i'm doing something wrong, but i'm running tests, anything related to skill power doesn't change the damage ( reactor with python mounting, non element skill booster, dimension skill booster, mod focus on dimension, mod skill simplification )... only how low your hp is when you shoot and how strong your python is matter
Are you using Ult Gley by chance? I heard she is currently bugged and doesn't get a boost. Not sure if this is true but it could be your issue if it is.

Hey man, what a nice video! Appreciate your work. Have you thought about the mod dangerous ambush? It gives 25% skill power if the boss isn't targeting you and additional 50% on immobilized enemies. So i think both of them will proc if you knock down the boss
yeah, i have it maxed out. im not sure which is better, since it would be competing against walk a tight rope. they are both arche tech, and the ninja star looking socket type. i would have to test it extensively, i have no clue which is better.
I prefer Massive Sanguification to deal max DPS at the start of the fight. However Blood and Iron will work just fine, you just deal your damage later. Few things to note: - Blood and Iron will not drop small HP Life orbs for small healing anymore from Mobs. - Blood and Iron takes a few seconds before you can use your ultimate. - Blood and Iron skips using the 2nd ability, therefore you will have higher HP and deal less damage, if you are above 50% hp. if you ever get downed or res'd, you can easily pop into full DPS rotation right away with massive sanguification.
when in massacre, there are two damage numbers. 1 - your gun damage: ur gun firearm atk + weakpoint + any crit multipliers if u crit 2 - your massacre pistol: ur skill power scaling + skill power modifier. that is why when u turn off damage numbers for weapons (i.e elemental damage), you will see two numbers. your gun and then ur massacre damage. to see how massacre will crit, you will need to check gley's character info. Open Inventory -> Character Info (W), if i remember correctly, gley has 5% base crit and uh... maybe 1.3x crit dmg.
mental focus stack do not fall off when you use gley's ability. however sharp precision does, which is why mental focus is better. if it didnt fall off, sharp precision would be so fun to use, you would rapid fire so fast!
Try to get CDR + any damage, such as non-attri or dimensional dmg, or even duration is okay. Gley's base crit if I remember is.. like 5%, you can check in character info. Therefore, that crit substat on the reactor is a very small DPS boost.

Quick question. Where do you get the mod "An outstanding investment"? It says Frontline base but i swear there lying. Been here for 2 hours just farming this mission 😂
not sure, besides molten fortress boss, says it drops about anywhere in vespers, its kinda one of those modules you'll end up naturally getting, rather than focus farming.
cant have toxic conductor with mental focus (they both have special mod group type), since mental focus has higher atk scaling in the end, i'd prefer mental focus.
Just curious why shield conversion instead of spear and shield? Spear and shield starts at 22% def. Shield conversion starts at 17. So ur gna get more out of spear while it also adds 8% skill power. Not much but a lil bonus instead of nothing.

I made exactly the same full DPS build that you demonstrated, I have the exact same modules and everything, but my skill damage is still much lower. Do you have any idea why? In Pyromaniac, you do 64,000 skill damage, but I only reached 46,000. The only difference I noticed is that your reactor has blue skill damage, and mine doesn't, but I don't believe that's the only reason my damage is so much lower.
hmm, im not sure, I know Gley's ultimate scaling right now is bugged for Ulti gley, in that if you're above 50% HP, any damage bonus from HP lost is not gained until you drop below 50%. other than that, not sure. it very well could be the reactor difference, I don't have an exact gauge of how much dps it gives.
it would essentially be the same kind of. try to build for 100% uptime on infinite ammo, then you can make use of the +atk from predator instinct. i would just use it temporarily until you get massive sanguification, or even blood and iron.
I know the recommended build is supposed to kill slower but what is the estimated time to kill on devourer with the recommended build instead of the dps build?
I still kill Devourer in like 12-14s with the recommended build. I'm sure it'll be a bit more drastic against more tankier mobs, and in group play. But hey! you probably will end up doing more damage anyways since you are more tankier and won't die as much.

regular gley is good enough. but i prefer ultimate since it has higher base HP/DEF later on. if you can, try to go for ultimate gley. it feels kinda bad to invest into regular gley when u eventually get ultimate gley.
No offense, but why show off a build in the intro that you don't recommend and isn't the build your promoting? Give us clips of this build in action so we can see whether it's worth the effort and resources it takes to build it.... Because this is a build with a lot of investment. Just my two cents.
i understand, but i felt like if i included a proper boss fight, it would make the video too long. however in essentials, the intro clips is just building full dmg, and the recommended build is swapping out a few modules for tankiness. the overall gameplay is still the same, since both builds are 100% uptime with massacre.

Yup, Sharen with Overcharged Edge (dropped from the final boss, Molten Fortress.....) can deal 3-5 mil per shot with a sniper. It's very nice. Ultimate Gley with Demonic Modification (also dropped from Molten Fortress) can deal 41 mil in a single shot, taking out the Devourer in 1s and the Dead Bride in 8s..... Sharen is amazing and no where near the C-tier early lists put her at (with a Transcendence Mod you cannot get till after completing Hard Mode), but Gley wins when it comes to single shot damage too.
i haven't tested, but since toxic bullet type is 30% of firearm atk, i'd imagine it's doing a decent amount. then being amplified by 50% from the other toxic module. i know some people like to swap bullet type for each fight, but i got lazy. you could consider doing that!
are you looking at the tool tip of the ability, rather than testing it with the dummies? as far as im aware, dimensional and non-attribute skill power/modifiers will not show up in the tooltip. however when u test dmg on dummies, you will see damage increases.
@@XevnPlays in the long run yes but it expensive especially if u already buffed the thundercage. Python is good bcz of the fire rate let's u proc more skill damage from her massacre but a built thunder cage can get the job done as well.
Not sure if you heard the new hotspot for Weapon leveling but there's a Shock Void Shard farm in the fortress region, I can't remember the new of the area sadly but with a good AoE bunny you can get up to 16,900 weapon every 20-30 seconds. @@jankev
you can go for a different element, its just a small extra 30% firearm atk of an element. i'd still use toxic since if for whatever reason im not in ulti form, can still use python's unique ability with it. (or use it on other characters)
@@Wafflicious good note, since its a toxic based weapons and other toons can use the weapon, thanks for the reply. It would make sense because when you use the 4th ability it snapshots the stats on the python, just not its ultimate ability.
yes, it would work with TC, there are other youtube videos showcasing similar builds but using the thunder cage instead. in my opinion, it would be a lower dps ceiling, but can still work very effectively. if you plan on using the thunder cage, make sure to build into crit rate and crit dmg as well.
Does this work well without massive sanguification? From what i understand its only used to jumpstart the skill loop so i would just have to wait for some enemies to spawn to get my initial orbs. I plan on getting the mod i just need a build to farm the boss for it
it will be okay-ish, you will still have infinite ammo on your primary weapon, but until you get massive sangui (or even blood and iron), you'll see the insane dps boost from using your ultimate ability.
