Casey!! Pink is your color I love it! Also, I used to work at Ulta and we do destroy items that were returned and used. For hygienic reasons! But if people returned unopened unused products we would put them back on the shelf!

That elf bronzer and blush quad has been around forever but I think they reformulated a little bit. If I’m not mistaken each shade pops out and u can customize your quad for travel. I love mine.

I used to work at Ulta for a few months, and sadly if you've used the product at all yes it gets thrown away. BUT if it wasn't used, it can be put back on the shelves to be sold. So if you KNOW something won't work for you, don't use it and it won't get thrown away! Idk about Sephora though.

I used to work at MAC and we would throw out returns or exchanges whether they were used or not. 😢 It was the policy since you never know what a customer did to the product even if it appears to be brand new.

Buy the dashing diva gel nail strips! I LOVE THEM! So easy to use and so quick to put on in a hurry. They have helped me grow my nails out and I always get compliments on my nails looking like I had them done at the salon. 8:21

I'm not sure if they stopped during the pandemic BUT, many moons ago (when I worked at Sephora) employees received many returned products in what was knows as "gratis." LOVED, LOVED, LOVED that perk.

Yes, any product that has been used and is returned is destroyed before it’s trashed. The exceptions do happen and can be returned to vendor (certain brands want the packaging back to reuse or recycle themselves) and many hair tools are now return to DC so that they can be sent back to the brands instead of trashed.

Casey, usually cosmetics counters or stores will throw away or”damage” products returned if they’re opened. I worked for Lancôme and a lady returned a skincare item, but she didn’t return it unused. It seemed as if she emptied the Lancôme product and filled the bottle with a drugstore product. She claimed her skin reacted from it.

I love the smashbox mattifying primer. It’s a HG for me, I always have it. They had it on sale during Ulta 21 days of beauty so I snagged it then :) and it looks like it’ll be on the one coming up too.

I got and really liked the green LA Girl 4 play quad so I grabbed the one you have and used it today and it is excellent quality!! Better than any other drugstore small eyeshadow palette. They could charge way more and I would pay it.

They have really great brush cleaning mats with suction cups at five below idk if they have that store by you but if not, I got a super cheap silicone set on Amazon that even has a netting hanging bag that holds / dries your beauty sponges and the little netting overcoat thingies u out on your makeup brushes to keep their shape after washing / while drying … it’s really done wonders for the longevity of my makeup brushes and their quality !! Also ~ I got 4 different color stories of those LA Girl eyeshadow quads they are reallly really good ! I got the smoky one u got , the pink the purple and the teal kind one so so good I can’t believe the quality of these you’ll love it!!!

I’m curious what you think of the Elf primer. I purchased it after seeing another beauty influencer use it and I’m using it really to help my under eye area look more smooth. It is a tacky quick drying primer and definitely would like your feedback ❤

Former ulta employee! If the product is used in any way, yes we throw it away after emptying it so no one can steal it from the dumpster! Wasteful but needs to be done! Don’t feel bad returning! After working there I don’t feel bad returning anymore cause so many people do it.

Ofc l remember! I also remember your collab with them wished to get it so badly, couldn't unfortunately.. You're the one person l commented on. Been a follower for years. Missing your hit songs at the end a lot. Night shift was only one of them. You brought so much light in my life in 2015 when I was in depression.
