There's a book called Heavy Weather Sailing. In it he describes waves apparently up to 180ft and there were big waves on the waves. He said they were like mountains. He said it's hard for most to understand how a small craft could survive such monstrous and horrendous conditions, but that experience and skill can put your odds in your favour.

Long story short, he was handed a dictionary, looked through it and what do you know? Snuck is indeed a word.... My point is, don't correct me thinking I'm wrong when I'm not. You're not wrong either. Both spellings are acceptable and still mean the same thing. You can Google if you want. I'm not ashamed to admit that I double checked. Wow, dandy waves. Not a day to be on the water. From Alaska

Angle and elevation has a tremendous effect on the horizons appearance. This footage is proof. If it were taken from 5 feet above sea level the waves would not look as ominous.

That’s crazy how the waves are in slow motion but the bird was able to fly by in real speed.

Just paddling out into the Big surf is total commitment... You just can't call time out and stroll on into the beach if you don't like the way things are going

Fairly normal storm waves for this area. 20ft plus isn't unusual, I'd estimate these at 25-26ft based on the 20ft waves I went to see from this same car park location in March during Storm Nelson. A bit further South at Sennen Cove, they're even more spectacular as the car park is much closer to sea level and there is a huge rock just off the RNLI ramp that breaks the waves as they come into the cove.
