I (sadly) watched a few sessions of the match, hoping that football (and England in particular) had become more watchable since my previous torture. It hadn’t. How can anyone watch such skill-less boring activity? It’s not even a game; there is no strategy, precision, or variety of moves. Rugby Union is a thousand times more watchable and skillful.

England needs to create more chances, by bringing the ball back when the attack is going nowhere, bring the ball back to the defence, make the opposition follow you and re-engage back in the attack. That's how you create chances, not by trying to dribble the ball into the opponent's net...
