I liked the chief in this game. he talked - not too much (halo 4) or too little (halo 3) and he had a funny, confident persona.

I know it's old but at 10:45 when Sgt Johnson beats on the drop pad, and Chief responds, that shows so much more character depth than anything in Halo 5 it's unreal.

Halo's 1, 2 and 3 were the epitome of storytelling, today and in my childhood. It makes me sad that we may not see another quality Halo release.

A part of me wants someone to take the scene where Cortana says "THAT, is another Halo.", and crudely copy/paste a picture of the next Halo game over the ring.

They really need to make a movie out of this

7:40 they removed some of the lines from halo 2 I remember it being something along the lines "Back in my day we didn't have any fancy tanks. We had a stick.. Two sticks! and a rock and we had to share the rock!" was one of my favorite lines in the game kind of sad they removed it for some reason.

9:21 then ODST happens... 18:25 is my favourite part Chief "Boo!" Grunt *screams and throws needler in the air*

They should let Blurr do all the cutscenes.

I was a teenager when I played it for the first time. The work Blur studios did is simply amazing. Every single details are incredibly faithful to the halo univers. Better ! It's making it more real, more important. Really amazing...

My god was old halo good. From the action to music to the story to the look. 343 really needs to step up and bring back halo, change is good but only when it keeps what makes it it.

In all honesty if they were to do a full feature halo movie I would prefer it to be all cgi, no live action just get a studio like blur to work on all of it.

Survives that fall in the beginning but can't survive a 20 ft drop in game.....

And people really have the nerve to compare him to noble 6, chief is just on a whole different level. Most people claim luck, but I like that one quote “luck is simply when preparation meets opportunity” Chief is confident, prepared and decisive. Maybe there’s a dash of luck or divine guidance but we can all agree Chief is the best Spartan there is.

I don't think anyone fully realizes, how frightening, truly frightening, this encounter would be 14:02. Something older than every star in the Milky way is talking to you, using you bc he wants to eat everything in it. It's fucking crazy just absolutely crazy. He's got a human, covenant and a forerunner literally in his hands. Fucking mind-blowing if you think on it.

I shed a tear of how amazing and nostalgic this is. Brilliant!

I love how they cleaned up the little details in these. They added to the scenes that bungie didn’t have time or resources to do themselves. It’s amazing how far we’ve come in technology and animation

I'm still playing this and halo 3. Still have my original console. Just because I can't connect it to the net doesn't mean it gets put on a shelf to get dusty. Game on!

We are such fanatics that we can watch these cutscenes an infinite time still it'll feel new.

Forget continuity, just bring Sgt Johnson back. He can even self reference, "back by popular demand, like a cockroach!" Then in-game on Legendary "going to make you all regret trying to take me out of the game!" I don't think anyone would object.

Halo 1 2 and 3 still give me chills. I remember like it was yesterday when I first fell in love with these games a kid. Halo was the best.

It's nearly 1:30 in the morning and I've now watched all Halo 2's remastered cutscenes... Blur studios, I will regret my stupid choices tomorrow, but now - thank you. Halo was the first shooter I ever played and I beat the first 3 games dozens of times. The nostalgia and memories this brings back are unbelievable. It's been years since I had anything to do with Halo and could still quote most the lines. Thank you for your beautiful work on one of the most epic and unforgettable games of all time. This blew my fucking mind. Sincerely, another Halo fanatic.

Wow!!!!! I havent played the anniversary versions yet. Havent even got a XBOXone. Still on 360. Gaming for me has been on the back burner for a long while. But damn, those graphics are nice!!! The human characters in these cut scenes actually look fukn human!!! I remember playing Halo2 original and while the graphics were a lot better than CE, they DEFINITELY look nice on here and that's just on my phone. Same comment for the Arbiter video you posted! VERY WELL DONE!!!
