I already have Nevskaya Palitra Tempera on my list, and this video just convinced that tempera might be a better medium than acrylic gouache.

Thank you, I just bought that masterclass tempera set, now I'm getting into oils, I've always used gouache and acrylics, I had been informed about acrylic gouache but this product managed to get my attention even though I had to buy it in Saudi Arabia but I'm from Spain, It is difficult to find this product in my country, practically impossible.

It is made in Russia and many countries have stopped trade with Russia. So you will not find it. Holbein and Royal Talens make excellent Gouache.

@@ThePaintSpotEdmonton I love the Royal Talens gouache, value for money. It's strange because the white nights watercolors from Nevskaya Palitra are very famous in Spain and we have many sellers who work with them, but not on master class tempera... I think it's not a painting known to artists, it's a pity because I had to buy a set of 10 tubes but I would have loved to decide the colors 😰

4:34 "over top over top" yes, but because the underlying layer resolves back and blends with the top layer, this feature is almost useless in practice. I asked about this Lena Rivo a fantastic gouache artist and she explained that layering with guache in practice is almost impossible. You demonstrated this problem with gouache earler in this fantastic video.

Master Class Tempera is elastic like acrylic ?. Can be combined with acrylic ?.

It is a latex paint similar to acrylic. Yes they can be mixed.

I have the masterclass tempera. Can they be in a paint palette then reuse it?

At about 5:53 - 5:55, she explains that the Master-Class tempera cannot be dried in a palette then used later like Master-Class Gouache and Watercolor can. I was looking for the same information and wound up re-watching the video looking for that answer before I invested in the Master-Class Tempera. Hope this answers your question. Happy painting! 😊
