Think at 2:19 something looks weird in the command line you added, it looks like you have (Space) "-dx11"typed in. Where you said just put "-dx11" at the end, could you confirm this?

How can I tell if it worked or not? I’m on my game after I done it but my game was never too bad in the first place anyway so I’m not sure if it worked?

If you’ve followed steps your game should be using direct 11 😊

I did the process and after trying to enter the game with 11 it opens and the screen goes completely white, then the game closes, does anyone know how to solve it?

If your pc can't handle direct 11 can causes issues, I would remove it :3

when you go to your folder, does it show you 3 different sims 4 game startup? i have one the says "launcher" "64 exe" and "dx9". which one do i use?

If you don’t have icon on your desktop like mine, I suggest trying putting code in 64.exe :3

If you have re-shade installed, I would re-download reshade and install it under direct 10, 11, 12. fixed my issue :3

I dont have a shortcut on my desktop, do i have to make one for the last step or will it work without it? Tnx for the tutorial

If you go to your sims folder you should be able to create one automatically from there - not 100% sure if it will work with doing that step or not

How does Directx11 it work with gshade?

I use re-shade. I think it should work fine but might need reinstall it to uses direct 11 not 12

Are you using ssd drive? - it should be same as I have ssd usb drive for my game

Some mods might need updating before they use direct 11 so I would wait see if modder has done update for the certain mod

Before you do switch make sure your mods are compatible with direct 11 people might need to update them to match the settings :3
