I've been using MJ for over a year and within the first 3 minutes, you taught me things I had no idea existed on MJ. Thank you. You've got a new subscriber.
I've been a MDJ user for years and have watched dozens of these videos, this ONE is by far the very best -clear concise detailed and NO efin music banging in the backgroud-just an excellent overview tutorial full of examples-Thank you so much.
this is the most useful midjourney video i've ever seen! literally every 30 seconds learning something new. I use up like 8 mj hours generating and experimenting based on your tips. you definitely got a new sub from me :3

Wow. You’re an excellent teacher and even using midjourney now since the beginning I still learned things. Thank you! Such a well thought out and delivered educational video.
Your ability to teach versus simply telling is greatly appreciated! There is something odd about a 50ish guy grabbing a notebook and pen to watch a YT video....😅. I feel like I'm at university all over again. Many thanks for your excellent work!
Amazing! I really learned a lot, didnt know there were so many changes. This came in handy as I signed up today exploring a better ai image generation tool and found myself overwhelmed, after watching this tutorial, I was able to navigate the site and start getting the results I wanted. I am glad you know how to explain well and also you show where things are on the screen in a slow manner, not rushing it. I appreaciet you sir.
You are totally awesome! I have only just started using MidJourney and this gave me all the information so that I can start creating. One of the best tutorials I have ever done! I have subscribed:)
I wanted to mention another use case for the --stop parameter you mention at 54:23. It can be used for surreal images such as paradoliea. Stop the image of say a well known face like Mona Lisa at say --stop 20. Then remix the image, vary subtle, but put in a totally different prompt, say "Times Square". Then you will get buildings that subliminally look like Mona Lisa! This technique was popular in Aug 2023. Of course such images are more impressive and superior using stable diffusion with controlnet on a computer.
This is so great. Thanks for making time to do this and share for free. subbed. Quicktip...on your next recording, try putting your camera on manual focus to avoid focus breathing....much love
The updated course on mastering Midjourney is excellent for both beginners and advanced users. SmthOS provides a smooth and intuitive platform for practicing and implementing what you learn. #Midjourney #AIArt #smthOS
thanks, great collection of descriptions and keywords. I do not even use midjourney (SD local is good enough), but I am going to copy so many words from the transcript, to keep as reference prompts.
Brilliant! Thank you so much, this video is fantastic! I have learned so many new things, amazing what midjourney can do. Keep on the good work, you are great!
If you're having to rely on a cheat sheet because of the variety of parameters to add FX and styles to your prompt, those really need to be in their own menu groups.
I guess --stop could be used to replace the --video feature. I would love if it just saved the steps as a video all the time showing the progress of how an image is "constructed". Its such a cool effect when you show off images to others where they can see how the image is improved in the process.
Thanks for this I appreciate the level of detail you put into this video. I have a question...I've been seeing a lot of AI videos on social media that's like Harry Potter in the 80s etc. Do you know what program people are using for this? The characters move a bit but you said Midjourney doesn't have much video capabilites...is there another program for this? Thanks.
Making my way through the vid. Awesome so far. One thing. On the cheat sheet, unless I'm mistaken, I believe it says the Weird value range only goes to 1000. I believe it goes to 3000, right?
Hey man that’s a great video I just have one question. I’ve heard of the option to tell mid journey how it would best describe your image. How do you do that?
Excellent. Thank you for this. I've used MJ almost a year now, and get really frustrated with it, so I go to Dall-e. I wish MJ learns from Dall-e how to be more conversation-user-compliant. Also, I wish all the AIs make DEI an option that can be opted out. If I want to generate 17th century Japanese samurai, give me at least Asian...none of this DEI-woke-crap. btw, since you mentioned it, your "liked" images are disturbing.
Otis McDonald - Not for Nothing, I got it off Storyblocks, but a lot of stock music is available on other platforms too so it could be elsewhere. If you've signe up in discord, getting to 100 images isn't too bad. You can even just run them with the stop parameter at 10 and it doesn't use as many credits.
does midjourney understand photographic compositions? Like I know rule of thirds midjourney understands but other composition techniques like olden ratio, golden triangle etc. If we want to place our subject in those positions how can we tell midjourney to do that
great video, thanks - i tried going directly to the midjourney site, it is not working for me. I have created over 1000 images via discord in the past. Is the alpha midjourney site only available in the USA ? I am in Canada.. thanks
Hello mister Futurepedia, I am an artist and photographer myself. Can I upload in MJ my own pictures and drawings (PDF) and mutate and recreate or do you advise Photoshop with AI? Thank you!
Hi, First thanks for your very useful video. Could you make a tutorial from your video Animation, which you made it in different zoom in 31:00 minutes on your video?? That would be nice and i think it‘ll be trend. Thx any way. You are very creative and active.
